edition of intercepted phone calls that may have rebels talking about the downed planes. here in the bay area they are looking for a fourth suspect in the robbery of a stockton bank. that fourth person was driving this car when he dropped off the three armed suspects at the bank. the shoot-out that followed left one hostage dead. the family of the woman spoke today. lillian is live in stockton. >> came to get cash for a hair cut and moments later she was taken away as a hostage and her daughter saw the whole thing. >> i love you, mom. >> she saw her mother being taken away by bank robbers. the 12-year-old was in the car while her mom went to get money, but today she didn't talk about that horrific day, instead she shared memories of happy times. e i remember when i first started softball and how she would always go to my games, and

she would always bring me orange juice because i always wanted it. >> the 42-year-old was used as a human shield by three bank robbers that led officers a high-speed chase. it's unclear whose bullet killed her. a third suspect survived. >> i wake up and i am hoping that it's a dream, and that my mom will be there, but she's not. you know, it sucks. >> they did not say if they plan to sue law enforcement for the way they handled the asuit but a family friend says they plan to obtain evidence. >> we look forward to a full and transparent investigation that is informative to the family as well as the citizens of

possesses any guns or ammunit n ammunition, he will go to jail. and then a man blocked the golden gate bridge with a rented truck. he left the truck and started to run along the bridge's sidewalk. it appears he may have thrown the keys to the truck off the bridge. a truck pulled the u-haul and trailer away, and both the truck and the trailer were empty. police have arrested a woman accused of robbing an 8-year-old girl outside a convenience store in san francisco. the 46-year-old christian was captured on surveillance video where she approached the girl selling the candy, and twisted her arm and grabbed the cash and took off. the girl is okay. christian is booked for robbery, felony assault and willful cruelty to a child. and then sweeping regulations take affect on

a joint training exercise for possible intruders in redwood city. both police and firefighters took part in the drill and it was held by the san mateo county sheriff. >> the movie fittingly is called "the predator" and those in the theater are role players and suddenly an intruder begins firing into the crowd. people are wounded. some are dead. >> i saw one person running through the college. possibly one officer down. >> the first cops to respond are called the contact team. the ones chosen to neutralize the shooters, and the second group are the ones that will guide firefighters and emts to the scene as the first team begins to secure areas of the theater. in another part of the building, the contact team killed three intruders and the second group

fans out through the theater to see if other shooters are still here. after they determine there are no others, fire and paramedics are allowed in to treat the wounded. time is of the essence. that's what this training is all about. >> we waited until everything is code 4 and we bring in fire, and too long, people are bleeding out. >> in columbine, they had to wait until they had the okay to go in, and today they practiced something called force protection. the battalion chief said they no longer wait for police to secure the entire area. >> we work with law enforcement to secure the scene inside the building while they are dealing with the active shooter. >> for police, the training gives them another perspective. >> when you bring in fire and ems, it's a whole other dynamic we are not used to seeing. >> the goal is to get police, fire and medical services on the same page the next time they

confront an active shooter. well, some bars licensed because of freak calls to the police department. they responded to the high number of calls from paper moon on san mateo avenue because most of the calls were due to violence. the agents at the alcohol beverage control investigated before issuing the suspension. it caused a major drain on law enforcement and they say the business operated in a disorderly fashion. police are looking for a man that took a picture in a bathroom stall last night. a person wearing mens boots entered the restaurant and stuck his phone under the divider and took a picture of her, and by the time the woman went outside the man ran off. and then getting more money from uncle sam. secretary of agriculture

announced nearly $10 million in new funding in drought release the white house promised to california. 58 california counties are considered disaster areas because of the drought, and that makes farmers and ranchers eligible for relief. and everybody is urged to be careful when they are outside with camp fires and power tools because of the fire risk. >> we are ahead of schedule with what we call the fuel drying out. statewide with the drought conditions, everything is ripe to burn and unfortunately we have to keep it down on everything. >> crews report the bully fire in shasta county is 51% contained. that fire has destroyed 18 buildings. investigators believe that fire

supplies with san jose police and the california highway patrol. matt keller has the story. >> the san jose police officers and a soon-to-be freshman met hours ago but already feel like family. >> i pretend he is my mom. >> if i am shopping with my granddaughter and my grand daughters all over again. >> they are shopping at target in san jose, and it's exactly what it sounds like, the other organizations asked groups to bring in kids that need help buying school supplies and clothes. >> for the family, it's something a grieving father doesn't have to think about providing to his three young daughters. they had a tough year. on april 29th his wife and their mother was stabbed to death in her san jose apartment by a relative. their lives changed in an instant. >> i asked if he needed

resources, and he said i am lost, i have no help and a lot of people are saying i will call you back and help you with this and that, and a lot of people are saying because of the language barrier. >> new shoes and school supplies don't take away the pain, but it helps the family to move forward. the young officers here feel a responsibility to the victims. >> when tragedy strikes families as this in circumstances, police officers pull out all the stops. a loss of a parent is tragic enough, but their circumstances are really touching us in a way that we can keep that connection going. >> the organization is helping the family find another place to live and also helping to pay for their school uniforms for the girls. and as for the next shop with a

mid to upper 70s at concord and livermore. and then sfo looking at the clouds near the coast, these are our forecast features. we will see low clouds increasing along the coast and around the bay tonight and it will be warmer tomorrow than today even though we will have high clouds around. humidity will rise on sunday, so sunday could feel muggy. here is our water vapor satellite image showing a redeveloping flow of moisture. the moisture tap is back on and it's bringing clouds into the area, and it's going to increase humidity by sunday. here is the forecast animation taking us through the day tomorrow. a few high clouds on saturday and thicker clouds on sunday, a little muggier conditions, and sunday is the day of aids walk san francisco, so the walk may begin in the morning hours under partly muggy conditions but it will be is sunnier and drier in the day.

and late morning to midday it may feel muggy, but looks like a lovely day for participants and spectators. and then overnight, increasing clouds and low temperatures mainly in the low 60s. tomorrow, down in the south bay, hazy sunshine and warm, highs ranging from upper 70s to mid-80s. on the peninsula, we will see highs ranging from mid-70s to 80 in redwood city and 72 in oakland tomorrow, and 75 in union city, and fremont, too. and up to about 90 at brentwood. here is the 7-day forecast. the mugginess goes away on monday and we will have a nice string of lovely seasonal

opponents of the idea to split california into six separate states fighting to keep that measure of the the ballot. they filed a complaint with the secretary of state. the 1.3 million signatures to try and put it on the ballot in 2016. county registers are working to determine the validity of the signatures. and then carefully handling the passenger luggage. one passenger captured video on tuesday of handlers flinging bags into a neighboring plane while watching at the gate, and you see the black luggage tossed on a co-worker, and airport management apologized and promised to pay for any items damaged. >> that's bad publicity for
