ryan smith. >> i'm nireena ninan. hundreds of bodies stuck in eastern ukraine, distraught families wait to bury loved ones. >> and this video overnight, a crane moving parts of the plane without investigators on the scene. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. the families of the victims are furious about how the bodies are being treated. the rebels have them and will not release them until international experts examine them. nearly 200 dead bodies from flight 17 were moved to refrigerated rail cars after lying in the sun for three days. the pro-russian rebels say they're transporting them to a nearby village. outrage is growing. >> i want to arrange a funeral. i can't. i don't know where they are.

i want my children back. >> reporter: the crash site is unexamined. they are pressuring vladimir putin to use his influence to get them to cooperate with investigators. >> we want to retrieve the bodies. we want to investigate the site. and we want to punish the guilty. >> reporter: in a statement released today, putin said everything must be done to ensure the safety of international experts on the scene of the crash site. the u.s. continues builds its case against the rebels and russia. among the evidence, a missile launch detected by u.s. intelligence at the time the plane disappeared. and rebel leaders discussing the shoot down. explosions over gaza one moment, then fire crackers, as gaza residents celebrate in the streets after hearing the capture of an israeli soldier. the death toll rises on both sides, and the number of funerals. hundreds of palestinians attended the funeral procession of three brothers killed when an israeli air strike his hish house. 6,000 have been wounded since the conflict began. in israel, a coffin of an israeli soldier is lowered into the ground. two israeli americans, one of them, mack strooinberg from the los angeles area who joined the israeli defense forces. and stories of this 7-year-old palestinian girl, recovering in a hospital after being rescued from the ruins of her home.

flight from edmonton to toronto. they sounded a mayday, the air bus 320 landed, there was a problem with the landing gear. one of the passengers tweeting they thought they might die today, then thanking the crew for a great job. and four killed in a plane crash near sedona. hikers reported the crash, which sparked a wildfire. the smoke could be seen for miles. access to the crash site is difficult because of the terrain and the fire. and seven major wildfires burning in four states this morning. washington state has the most area on fire, and now the first fatality. a 67-year-old man suffered a heart attack protecting his home from the complex fire. 150 homes have been lost. cooler temperatures and rain on the way. and bakersfield, california,

attention fliers, the fee on your plane tickets that you are charged by the tsa is going up today. that new fee, $5.60 for all flights. but any connection longer than four hours is counted as a separate flight. congress approved the fee to help reduce the deficit. and r.j. reynolds was ordered to pay a florida widow more than $23 billion in punitive damages. they are appealing. cynthia robinson's husband was a long-time chain smoker who died the smoking in 1996.

good monday morning. it's 4:28. hope you had a great weekend. >> woke up to a surprise this morning. there were droplets on my car, mike. what's up with that? >> there's some sprinkles out there. drizzle for the rest of us. here it is on live doppler 7 hd. looks more impressive than what is reaching the ground. the drops i had weren't enough to run the windshield wiper. this is sliding from south to north. i do mean very, very slowly. as the energy that is creating this is just not moving very quickly right now. below that we do have some low clouds and some drizzle for the morning commute. by the afternoon hours, it's going to be slightly humid once again with slow clearing south to north and temperatures near normal if not below normal

police in the north bay are looking for the gunman that shot and wounded a man in marin city. amy is near the scene with the latest information? >> reporter: sheriff's deputies are on the scene working on their case. they are looking for evidence and working on gathering evidence here at the scene. we are at coal drive and drake avenue. the marin county sheriff's office says the victim is a man in his mid 30s. he's not a resident but that he is known to the community. they say he was shot in the head several times but he was shot in one location and then kept going. >> it appears at this point that the shooting took place at one location on coal drive here in marin city and appears that he did in fact after the shooting occurred walk one or two blocks away to the point where he was located by the deputy sheriff. >> reporter: he is
