getting off easy. michael kwang's family has been in the business since 1906 selling shark fins to restaurants for shark fin soup. this morning he didn't want to discuss the case against him. >> what is the source of the shark fins? >> he has pleaded not guilty. lawyers tell me they'll challenge the constitutionality of the ban. officials say they found 2000 pounds of shark fins in his san francisco warehouse in january, a full six months after the ban took affect. it's the law he knows very well. >> i'm a fourth generation to be involved in shark fin business. >> he's one of the most-vocal opponents appearing in hearings and in a news conference sponsored by

chief franklin is one of four firefighters disciplined in the aftermath of last summer's collision between a fire rig and a motorcycle. she's in the revealed charges saying they're personnel matters. hays-white recommended terminating firefighter michael quinn who drove the truck but resigned the accident happened in june. at 5th and howard a truck was responding to a call. a 50-year-old jack frasier is on the motorcycle at the top of the screen the truck blows through a red light, sending him across howard street he slams into a fire hydrant. frasier was injured. the bhood alcohol level above legal driving limit. an investigation to see if other firefighters at the scene.

retailers can not expire they cannot include service fees there are, however, exceptions gift cards can expire if donated or given as a promotion. bank cards used anywhere, also may expire. and the law doesn't apply to gift cards sold before 1997 but the certificate, the restaurant has to honor it we contacted happy roll the owner did not want to go on camera but tells us she had no idea about the law. as soon as we explained it she agreed to honor the gift and said, thank you so much for telling me about the law. i called the customer and will be giving him had a new gift certificate this weekend. here they are enjoying sushi rolls and udon. happy ending at happy roll. the law also says if you don't use the entire almost amount you keep the remaining value on the card.
