new this morning east bay liquor store is suddenly a drive through when a woman slammed her truck into the building. katie marzullo is at house of liquors in san leandro. katie? good morning, matt. i talked with the police department can they say the driver was drinking and she was a customer of the liquor store. look at the damage. she rammed the truck into the front corner and that is brick where you now see plywood and you pull out you can see the wooden structure that has been added. that addition is from the san leandro fire department to make sure it does not fall done. this happened at 9:40 last night. the woman driver, in her early 40's, first came here as a customer and bought something in the store and rammed into the structure as they she was trying to leave the parking l an

employee was outside and saw it happened. don't know how many were inside the store but we know no one was hurt. structure took a hit and the fire department did a lot of leg work. >> we make sure it is safe for the occupants and business owner to return. >> no red tag despite the damage. this is just restricted use sign posted outside of the store and the driver was taken to the hospital can the fire department says with minor injuries but has been backed into jail. this is house of liquor here in san leandro so possibly the store owner and workers could be here figuring out when they can re-open the store. happening now, president obama is back in the bay area for a pair of fundraising events
