amy hollyfield is in san francisco. katie marzullo is in los altos. >> that is where the president is headed to the second event. katie marzullo? the situation here is changed in the last few minutes. you can see two protesters, a much larger crowd moments ago but the group got word that president obama's motorcade would not be coming past this location at the park-'n-ride at 280 so they decided to head to the actual location of the fundraiser. the larger group that is here, and there are two groups protesting here originally, they wanted the president's attention on net neutrality opposed to the large entertainment provider getting faster internet service and slowing it down for individuals. it was created by the people and it should be for the people. >> i don't think obama is keeping his promise when he said that he was for free and open

he was visible for a couple of seconds at the intercontinental hotel this morning. that is where he stayed the night. this is all we saw of him. his motorcade, and tower street was shut down overnight and all morning creating a mess for commuters in the south market area. traffic was gnarled on market street when he moved to the four seasons. i asked the white house why he could not do it in one hotel but have not received aens for. we asked hotel guests what it was like to stay in the same place as the president. >> a president heard a protester at 6:15 this morning. >> other than the protester, and the managemental detector last night, it was nothing. nothing. pretty quiet. >> exciting? >> of course. exciting of the don't know he was in town. i am here for work. exciting. >> president obama arrived at 9:30 last night from seattle. it was a low-key arrival with no

the air is clean. good morning, again. we will look at live doppler 7 hd. i want to talk about the winds coming ashore. can you see the 18 miles per hour wind from fairfield keeping inland cooler-than-average and it will be aggressive as we head through the afternoon so watch out north of bay bridge through the san pablo bay and sass soon bay to the delta communities at 15- to 25-knots until later today can starting at 6:00 it will be breezy along the coast something we have not had in a bill with a wind at 15- to 30-knots. you can see the area of low pressure keeping the ins coming ashore and why we will not get rid of the cloud cover. however, expect it to look more like this as the day unfolds and we have a few clouds across the sky in hose. at the golden gate bridge we will see more sun and the clouds are above the deck. no need to worry about reduced visibility. the wind is coming from the west

at ten miles per hour, and 70 in san francisco, a lot of low-to-mid 70's around and los gatos is the warm spot at 78 and we have half moon bay and san rafael in the upper 60's. some of the cooler spots. from the exploritorium look how calm the bay water is but they will be more aggressive as we head to the afternoon hours. mild today, clear tonight and patchy fog possible with dry heat arriving tomorrow. some of the heat will leak over to the coast. we will look at today's temperatures, mid-to-upper 70's in south bay to cupertino at 80 and los gatos and morgan hill and gilroy in the mid-80's and santa cruz to the board walk is sunshine and 76 and mid-to-upper 70's along the peninsula with mid-to-upper 60's along the coast and we should hit the low 70's around downtown and sausalito with mid-70's to 80 through the not bay valley and along the east bay shore we will have low-to-mid 70's and still free air conditioning inland, low-to-mid 80's but tomorrow may not be so free to keep yourself cool with 90's on the way.
