stitches. those who were in the path of the bullet say that it was terrifying. >> bullet pierced the window and front door of this apartment unit on west 5th street in antioch at 4:00 this morning while two generations of one family slept inside. >> scary. man, it nearly hit the door. >> this father did not want his son's face on tv because he is worried the gunman will come back. a 23-year-old woman, his sister-in-law was hit by the gunfire. aawe were sleeping. it woke us up. she was grazed. >> sometimes the young grandchild sheep here, too, but they were not here at the time of the shooting. police have not made any arrests. they say they don't think the shooting was random but this apartment unit was targeted. they will not say why. the family, though, believes it was random and part of life in

trails. we have new details of the corruption case involving state senator yee. back in federal court, he pleaded not guilty to new charges of racketeering and bribery. he is accused of using campaign for san francisco mayor and secretary of state to solicit illegal donations in exchange for political favors. the charges were included in a new indicted issued last week and allege he offered to pass legislation making it harder for nfl players to obtain worker compensation in california in change for contributions from an unidentified nfl owner. yesterday, raymond "shrimp boy" chow, a former chinatown gang step pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. 27 other people have been charged in the case. >> the african nation of sierra leona has declared a state of emergency after peace corps

>> at ucla they are assessing the cost dams from the broken water main that flooded six campus facilities and created a huge sinkhole on sunset police department. last night crews were finally able to completely shut off the 93-year-old pipe that was still gushing a thousand gallons a minute yesterday. officials now say more than 20 million gallons of water flowed from 9 ruptured pipeline and 950 vehicles are still trapped underground in the parking garages. half of them were probably submerged and suffered major damage. repairs are expected to take until tomorrow night or saturday morning. >> cruise are making progress this morning in trying to protect a treasure grove of giant sequoia trees at yosemite.
