with tail lights headed to highway 4 and we have a series of citizens including a brand new accident in hayward southbound on the nimitz with two lanes blocked and we are seeing the delays south highway 92. we also have this cold front that could be the rain, eastbound highway 24, two lanes are blocked at the tunnel and we are still tracking this minor injury crash northbound 101 two lanes are still blocked and the rest of the drive along 101 is clear to the san jose airport. happening now the coast guard is running to san francisco's ocean beach to remove fuel from a partly submerged fishing boat after the certain for the missing boater was called off. we are joined by matt. are they on scene? >> two members of the coast guard arrived and walked to where the boat is. there are cones set up around the sand and the boat which

beefed itself right there. the coast guard are checking it out. it is possible they could bring the boat to shore. the goal is to remove the fuel from the vessel and up to 400 gallons could be on board. the captain called other boats asking for help at 3:30 yesterday afternoon saying the fishing vessel was sunk on rocks. he said he would try to swim ashore. he was not found but the coast guard and national park service and san francisco fire department spent hours researching for him and a team searched the deck. the seven was call off at noon. no word if he made it to shore. the coast guard is asking people to give them a call if they have seen or heard from him. a mountain view man is under arrest targeting children at a possibly home park. we are in the newsroom with

details on the investigation underway. >> suspect is a handyman who did odd jobs for the neighbors. that is how he met the two young girls he is accused of sexually assaulting. police arrested the 43-year-old on friday on suspicion of committing lewd actions with a child. the victims are two sisters, seven and ten. we he was allegedly on the job when he lured the girls into a remote area and touched them at the mobile home pack. neighbors have mixed reaction. some are rised saying ramiro palacios regularly attended clutch and talk about loving god openly. others say they had a strange feeling. >> the seven and ten-year-old girl...that bothers me. knowing he is right over there...it bothers me. ainvestigators are asking the public to help identify any other concern who may have been victimized.

a fremont man accused of attacking two women is scheduled to be arraigned today. police say the 34-year-old tied up a woman with duct tape and tied up and sexually assaulted her mother on sunday. the officers say morris said he had seen the women in passing and found out where they lived. he was waiting inside the victim's house on the parkway when they got home. a ten hour manhunt led officers to morris. he has confessed. he may have committed several crimes. today, san jose city council will decide if voters can say "yes" or no to a higher sales tax. many city leaders backed the increase. if the city council makes it a general tax measure it would need a simple majority on pass. the city council could earmark tax money for police and fire services which would require a two-thirds major. the proposed tax hike brings in $34 million over the suggested

we have more breaking news from last half hour. a minor earthquake hit the napa area at 5:40. the 3.2 earthquake was felt across the area according to the geological association it was also felt in fairfield and american canyon. but there are no reports of damage. police say a plane has landed safely at britain's manchester airport after beings cored by the royal air force after a warning of a possible harmful device on board. details are released now and the r.a.f. does not know how genuine

covering santa rosa, berkeley, san jose and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. happening right now the coast guard is trying to unload fuel from a beached boat at ocean beach in san francisco. >> officials have decided to go in a different direction. matt, what is happening now? we have several coast guard members about to put their plan in motion. they are gathering over there. they attached cables to the heave equipment including a backhoe. the cable is attached to the boat. the goal is to pull the boat out

chance the showers is well off to the east. around the bay we are in the mid-70's to 80. north bay, south bay, east bay, we could be in the low-to-mid 80's but 90's will be more likely in the forecast starting tomorrow. thursday through monday we have morning marine layer clouds and afternoon sunshine but partly sunny in the mid-60's. >> we have a second wave you were talking about coming through and the roads look west than it was. the traffic is build up in the southbound direction there is not too many options for you to speed your way through. slick conditions. we have had a few accidents most likely a result of wet roads. the bay bridge toll plaza shows we have an accident involving a big rig with another vehicle but it is not blocking any lanes.
