under control and in the last couple of minutes it started to sprinkle in san jose so that is a big help. the flames are out here at the willow glen senior living facility crass from the post office. you can see firefighters are coming out from the willing and they have the flames under control. they were just checking for hotspots. no one lives in the building. it is a rec room and a kitchen. i spoke with a man who is a chef. he walked by and he saw smoke coming from the building and he called 9-1-1 and flames remain shooting from the building. the biggest concern for firefighters was there are people who live in the surrounding buildings, senior housing surrounding this build ing. they wanted to make sure the films did not spread. right now they are working to make sure the building is safe to go back in and i asked the

firefighter, is this damage something that will keep people out of the building for a long-term and he thought it was repairable. all the way to meridian, it is closed off right new. more breaking news, we have learned new details on the last 20 minutes of the driver who smashed into three cars for sale overnight at an east bay car lot. we are in concord. >> we helped the driver was arrested on suspicion of d.u.i. and he is recovering at the hospital. this dealership is next to the freeway and you can almost trace the driver's path on the ramp, crossing the median, took down a fence and slammed into the cars fence and slammed into the cars in the dealership.

the storms this afternoon are in the high country. 78 in milpitas and low 80's for the rest of the south bay and upper 80's in morgan hill and gilroy. 72 in millbrae and mid-70's on the peninsula. mid-to-upper 60's along the coast and south san francisco and sausalito. the biggest jump in temperature is right here. we were in the low 70's and now we are in the upper 70's to mid-80's if the north bay because there is more sun. muggy and mid-80's did low 90's on the east bay shore. trying to decide what to turn the air conditioning on. it depends on how the family feels. the seven-day outlook shows morning clouds and afternoon shun, 70's and 80's an the bay and 80's and 90's inland. >> through san jose you have been telling us the rain has been moving to the south and this could have been the reason for the crash involving a

light traffic in the east bay. rather risk? >> breaking news from san jose, firefighters remain at at the scene at an assisted living facility after a fire. matt is there with details. matt? the last half hour we had a light shower and that is helping in san jose. can you see firefighters are still on the scene but several crews have been let go. those that remain are making sure there are noment spots and all the damaged material is brought out from inside the building. this is the administration building and kempen -- that is surrounded by season your housing. i spoke with a chef from the kitchen and told me what he saw. >> i saw smoking, smoke out. i called 9-1-1.

>> fires are familiar with the facility and knew that no one lived in the building but were concerned it could spread to the surrounding apartments so they called a second alarm. they saw flames coming from the roof but controlled them and firefighters say it can be repaired and put back to use by the senior living facilities but right now it is too early to determine a cause. bart service is back to normal after a bomb square. someone reported a possible bomb on an a.c. transit because parked under the tracks near the west oakland bart station and police evacuated the bush, station, businesses and homes and the bomb squad and k-9 checked it out and found nothing at bus. trains stopped running through the tube for two hours causing major problems system-wide and you can see an exam right there
