live from the kgo broadcast center this. is abc7 news. >> i don't think that is necessary. it is one person. >> a violent arrest a in the east bay has some claiming police brutality. >> the story doesn't stop there. the real issue what happened after the cameras were turned off. good evening. i'm dan ashley. >> i'm ama dates. the arrest was recorded and when police spotted the cameras officers confronted them. >> alan wang is live in antioch with the story. alan? >> dan and a -- ama, it brings up the rights of people with video and rights of police and if they can take away that video. the antioch police department declined an on camera video and all of the witnesses we spoke with were afraid to reveal their identity because of what they saw police do to this man. >> i don't think that's necessary.

>> this is youtube video of antioch police arresting a man on tuesday afternoon. >> i thought it was overkill. i was disgusted by it. >> the man who appeared to be mentally disturbed appeared handcuffed as police used a taser on him and hit him with a baton. an officer released a police dog who started biting the man until he was bleeding and unrecognizable. >> not his legs and arms. it was his face and head. that's too much. >> the man who shot this video say officers started confiscating cell phones from anyone who shot video of the incident and then this officer asked for his cell phone. >> i he took my phone because i didn't want no problems. >> then what happened? >> he e-mailed the incident to his phone. >> this witness says he was ordered to erase his video so he did. >> they are being demanding,

erase your phone. >> the american civil liberties union says police officers may not confiscate or demand to view your digital photo or video without a warrant. but antioch police told abc7 news if a person is not willing to turn it over voluntarily, an officer can sometimes seize the device containing the video. the police would have to get a search warrant to retrieve the video from the device. antioch police would not comment on the details of the incident. alan wang, abc7 news. new at 11:00, one person was killed after a trailer with a pizza often broke free from a van. it happened on lakeville highway south of town at 7:30 p.m. it went directly into on coming traffic. he slammed into a car with a family of four inside. one parent was killed. the other parent and two children were rushed to hospital with major injuries. officers are now trying to determine if the trailer was hitched correctly.

golden gate park is packed tonight with music fans on the first night of outside lands. but a lot of people didn't get in because they were taken. there are counterfeit tickets given to concert goers. now a key tip to avoid being ripped off. >> exactly. tonight's concert just ended by kanye west in golden gate park. there were tickets that looked real and were very, very fake. even before the music started police had their hands full. there was numerous medical calls for alcohol and drugs. a lot of booze were confiscated. but the concert fans approached us with the same story. they were scammed to save

iraq. they performed a second round of drops. this is video of the iraqi soldiers earlier. the pentagon announced three separate attacks on the artillery positions. the government says fighter jets dropped a laser guided bomb on an isis convoy. some people in the bay area are not happy about the american airstrikes in iraq. they rallied in san francisco today. they worry that today's airstrikes will lead to another round of full scale american involvement in iraq. >> it is assistance with a food drop. it can turn it into a complicated situation very quick 3. the whole idea is trying to withdraw troops. nonow you are inviting them back in. >> others welcomed the humanitarian drops and the airstrikes. today this group of people

rallied. they want the u.s. to do more. the first of two powerful storms headed toward hawaii broke apart as it reached land. iselle weakened as it hit the volcanos. it caused destruction knocking down trees and power lines. up to a foot of rain fell. hundreds of people evacuated their homes and sought emergency shelters. a family from san ramon on vacation decided to come home today. >> because of the tropical storm and they were predicting the land falls and the high winds. we didn't want to take a chance. we said it is better to go back home and be safe. >> hurricane julio remains a category 2 storm. it may now miss hawaii. just in case they need to respond, fema's regional response coordination center in oakland is up and running. spencer christian is tracking the remanence of iselle.

down the street. police say the two were growing and packaging pot as well as making cannibus oil. the two now face multiple drug cultivation and distribution charges. ma meta san jose interest -- mineta san jose has a better airport to get passengers through faster. several kiosks were introduced at the terminal. they check fingerprints and ask a series of questions and snap a photo. the program does require pre approval. sfo and 50 other airports use the kiosks. after a a portland man's bike was stolen they went to adorable lengths to shame the thieves. red soxy saw her dad was sad so she used her savings to make a sign. it read "shame on you bike thieves. your mom would be so disappointed." the sign got a lot of attention in the local media

eventually leading to a citizen spotting the bike. the officers recovered it thanks to red red roxy's decision to give them a piece of her mind. engineering students developed a piece of paper that can transform into a walking robot. they created this transformer. this video sped up400 times so you can see the process. the cardboard-like paper folds into legs and walks away. they believe robots like this would be cheap and easily transportable easest especially in -- especially in space travel. all of us have been working on a special project in oakland we hope will provide. >> for a lot of kids. here is a look from sky 7hd as we were building a new playground in oakland's concordia park with our partners, parent company, disney and nonprofit group kaboom. waynewayne freedman has the

it is moving away as a weak tropical storm and rain that could produce widespread flooding. flash flood watches are in affect for the entire island chain and next in line and there is a strong storm and the projected path may have no significant game on -- affect 0* hawaii's weather. we will get back to local weather and a live view from sutro tower. these is our forecast features. we will see coastal fog and mainly sunny afternoons and there may be drizzly spots. that's all the precipitation we will see in the forecast period. satellite image shows a weak low developing offshore and may push moisture into the area. spotty drizzle could develop. we will give you the forecast animation into sunday morning. spotty drizzle possible and it

could pop up in other locations as well. the bottom line is we are not expecting rainfall. look for fog developing across the coast. low temperatures in the midto upper 50s and maybe a couple of low 60s in the inland east bay which is generally mildest overnight region. tomorrow all across the bay area, sunny skies and mild to warm conditions. highs in the mid60s at the coast and low to mid70s. even upper 70s around the bay inland locations will have low to mid80er -- low to mid80s. no extremes extremes and no hot weather. here is a look at your seven-day forecast the pattern is steady and tomorrow through tuesday we will see inland highs around upper 80s and mid70s around the bay. midto upper 60s on the coast and then barometerring -- then warming a few degrees above 90 degrees inland.

low 80s around the bay. midto upper 60s on on the coast. i want to point out one more thing. they weaken as they go over water. in this case the storm encountered big islands mountain range. that caused the storm to weaken. but the downside of that is it slowed it down more, slowed down the flow of progress which allowed more rainfall which produced the flooding. >> it was a 4 at one point. >> yes and it weakened to a 2. as it got closer to the islands it got to 1 before landfall. and by the time it actually made landfall it was a tropical storm and not even a hurricane. >> thank you, spencer. >> let's talk to larry beil. >> great job by mon o ka -- monicaya and moniloa.
