domestic violence incident in ma ren city involving 20-year-old derek mccann. this morning, a deputy saw mccann's car and started to pursue. under surveillance video shows the suspects car slam into tables and chairs and pin a customer against the wall. ken witnessed everything. >> it's all the glass, i saw it made a four-door car into a two-door car. there he is. there is the guy others choraled the driver running away. >> reporter: eventually they cornered him. he jumps up a off. >> we knew something had bad happened. >> police say the suspect hit four vehicles, including one

it's known as the junction fire. they left this afternoon in two alameda fire engines. to the south now, a different fire near lake isabella has grown to 3100 acres, there are road close years in effect. there is no estimate on the exact number at this point. it covers the cost of fighting the fire. >>let look outside to fight the weather. >> it's cooler. if you are fighting these fires. >> it's certainly cool here in the bay area. we have rainfall again. we have lots of cloud cover manly near the coast many spots were quite sunny as well. let's take a look at what

bay police today repleased a picture. a man accused of caution a fiery rollover accident sunday night. place say he was speeding and broadsided another vehicle. his car rolled several times colliding with several other vehicles. police say he tried to run away but was tackled by the officers, he is charged with drunk driving, hit-and-run and resisting arrest. a pilot is dead in marin county. the pilot reported engine trouble and said he was going to try to land and sadly never made it. we have the story. >> here is a picture of what's left of the plane that crashed overnight in west marin county. the crash site is remote on private property and is considered a crime scene.

and the escalating tension between police and residents would be heightened today, when officers shot and killed. a person was killed less than four miles from where michael brown was killed, officers fired at a robbery suspect armed with a knife. they held their hands up, don't shoot. st. louis chief of police went into the crowd to answer their questions. he said the suspect was acting erratically and saying, shoot me now, kill me now. he was three to four feet from an officer when he was shot. community leaders say they are working with police to have an open discussion on what happened. >> there is not ferguson and that one of the root problems of ferguson and not into tension with community and police.

. >> a woman is being hailed as a hero for rescuing two children after they fell into a resser voir strapped into a double stroller. the woman was jogging when she saw the stroller roll down towards the water. it rolled down a ten foot embankment. the kids went in face down. rebecca is a former lifeguard. she did not wait for the mother to act. >> the children were buckled in. at that point it was waterlogged. i couldn't take it out. one of the women went in. she couldn't swim but ended up grabbing on me. >> she basically had to save all three of them. rebecca dragged all three closer to the edge.

county. the evacuation orders for some places were lifted this afternoon. laura anthony is live with the latest on this. laura. >> reporter: well, hi, dan, the situation here is actually much improved, of course not for the folks that own this property. this is a local landmark, it's the old landmark restaurant. it was ground zero as flames headed to the east after jumping highway 41. though the active fire moved well to the east of downtown, the damage has clearly been done in and around downtown. in all, eight structures are known to have burned in the junction fire. at least one is a home. >> we barely got out. i thought for sure the whole place was going to go up. >>. >> reporter: her home experienced a near miss with the flames coming so close.
