$1 million bail facing pornography charges. now the school is trying to figure out just before start of the school year. >> 58-year-old mitchell wolf was arrested early friday morning for internet crimes against the children's task force and served a search warrant at his home. today the middle school teacher was booked on charges. possession of child pornography. >> we were shocked and saddened to hear about the allegations and the arrest. >> he works for the danville school district. he has been employed as a math teacher here since 2002. >> we have no reason to believe that any of our students are involved in these allegations. >> i was just shocked. >> this 17-year-old had him both as a teacher and soccer teach. >> i'm just going to hope for the best for him because it's a tough situation for the family.

44-year-old was pulled over yesterday for going the wrong way down a one-way street that's his mug shot on the right next to his official senate video. the office every pulled him over and gave him a field sobriety test. thursday night a person posted him and other lawmakers drinking inside the state capitol. >> something is already on campus mold. mold is spreading through the staff of journalism and some supports have started to buckle. the school director tells our media partner the san jose media news, the mold is mostly in the eastern half of the building that has more offices than classrooms. classes are still scheduled for inside the building this semester. concord police are asking people to be on the lookout for a car burglar. this is surveillance video from thursday morning. it shows a suspect walking up to

valleys. the beggar picture, a trough offshore. look at high pressure, our dominant weather feature to the east of us allowing for near average temperatures today. in fact, if you head toward the delta, the sacramento valley, it could be much, much hotter this time of year. but we are looking at a pretty good set of swels, allowing for high surf in southern california this weekend. back home, looking at numbers in the low 80s for the high today in san jose. not much change through monday. then by tuesday and the middle of next week, probably when school starts for a lot of folks, numbers will climb into the upper 80s. that will translate into mid-90s in the inland valleys. so in the south bay elsewhere, looking comfortable numbers around milpitas 79. gilroy 86. 73 santa cruz. plenty of sunshine on the peninsula with upper 70s.

>> the new law takes effect january 1st. dogs will be allowed on the patio only, not inside the restaurant, and especially not in the kitchen. in walnut creek, laura anthony. abc7 news. >> and google is having to modify it's latest self driving car. the current one has no steering wheel, brakes or gas pedal but that will change because california's department of motor vehicle is requiring all self driving cars to include full human control during testing. it will be a while before you see them on public roads. would you let someone follow you around and keep track of you every moment of the day? probably not. but that's exactly what we allow our smartphone apps to do. a new survey of shoppers show 50% don't want to be tracked, at least not in a store. 13% say they already get too many messages. is it 11% say it bothers them to get offers for things they aren't interested in.

smartphone and all the apps keeping track of her using joe owe location. tyler is the author of "catching the cat officials." a book about online security. she's a senior officer and cyber branch chief for the defense intelligence agency. >> people need to read the terms of the service of the applications they are serving and quickly look at the permission settings of the applications that they use. >> but even with that, she warns there is no absolute privacy online. >> even these anonymous applications, they aren't anonymous. someone is going to know something, and there is always going to be a digital breadcrumb left behind. good news is if you know that, if you understand that, you can take control over that and you can really start to control the image that you want people to see. >> so check your phone to see which apps are following you around and ask yourself do they really need to do that in if not, turn them off.
