you're looking at the classroom in richmond where a student passed out after eating cookies laced with marijuana. five students became ill. today an angry parent wants information. >> two of the students who ate the pot-laced cookies went to the hospital. abc 7 news reporter joins us in richmond with the story. >> reporter: hi, cheryl. we spoke to a father who is

upset. he said it was czar i are after his daughter was treated by the daughter. he was told to wake her up every two to three hours. she said she was out of it. he wants to know how it happened here on school campus. >> you have to take your daughter to the hospital because it's sick. >> it's the call no parent wants to get. this call from the principal had an extra element of surprise. henry's daughter had eaten a cookie with marijuana in it. a cookie that another student was selling on campus. >> i'm really mad but i pray, lord, you know. >> reporter: he said when he saw the 15-year-old she was like a zombie. >> he said, as soon as i ate the cookie i felt like i was going to die. she said i felt like a giant. and i went the bathroom and the little tiles moving like this.

and i said, wow. that's really scary. >> my heart felt like it was going to come out. i was paranoid. i don't know. i didn't know what was happening to me. it was pretty scary. >> reporter: she said she didn't know there was marijuana in the cookies. she was not the only one who ate them. school officials say five kids became sick. two passed out and were taken to the hospital. >> it was really crazy. i seen some girl passing out in the hallway. >> reporter: the 17-year-old girl accused of selling the cookies is in juvenile hall and faces several charges. henry would like to know how she sold cookies with marijuana in them on a school campus. >> on monday i'm going with the school and i'm speaking to the principal. they have to explain what happened, you know. >> reporter: he said the doctor at the hospital told him he treated 15 stoont students and police say it is likely there are more victims and ask they please come forward and talk to investigators. police tell us that the suspect

is about seven months away from her 18th birthday. she's in juvenile hall but because of her age enthe sophistication of the crime, she could be charged as an adult. live in richmond, abc 7 news. two parents taken into custody after finding marijuana laced lollipops. they released the pictures. they were doing a probation search when they found marijuana growing in the backyard. and they entered the home. they found the loaded shotgun. there were two children in the house. jones and megan gibbons. >> the u.s. military is trailing a small aircraft that is unresponsive and heading over cuban air space. here is a look at the flight path from flightaware.com. the small green icon is the

plane. if i can get it in focus here. it went away. here it is. just crossed out of cuban air space, and headed for the cayman island. two f-15 are flying with the plane east of florida. a spoke person said the windows are frosted over the and pilot is slumped over. they don't know how much fuel is left. it could mean that the pilot and passengers are passed out from lack of oxygen. norad is in touch with cuban authorities who decided not to send planes up. they're following it on radar. we will continue to follow this story on twitter at abc 7 news bay area. city officials are deciding the fate of the mission district building that is the scene of a fire yesterday. the flames that roared through the house and left behind an unstable shell. abc 7 news reporter is live. >> reporter: eric, this continues to draw a huge crowd. look over there, you can see

people continue to be drawn to the scene. everyone saw the huge flames yesterday and it still draws a crowd. the debris left behind the department of building inspection is here. they did and assessment and this is what we know. the determination, the building must come down. firefighters continue to see the occasional flair up inside the building. when they do they aim the hoses and hit the hot spots with water. they tell me they believe there will be more flairups once they're able to move among the debris inside. the space was used for storage as well as retail. hundreds of clothes and pack backs and suitcases are in there. firefighters haven't been inside the building. the building is not safe to enter said engineers. the next steps will involve the property owners working with their insurance company to begin an emergency demolition. the state of the building is described adds dangerous and

heavily comprised in structure and integrity. >> i would say about 95% of the roof is burned off or fell into the building. we have appears what a second floor that collapsed to the first floor. we have a problem with the two bearingexterior and the front wall is cracked and we're worried about that falling into mission street. >> take a look at the view from sky 7 hd. we were there yet afternoon as the fire burned for hours in the mission. heavy flames and dark black smoke can be seen pouring out of the roof. the fourth evacuation of the adjacent buildings. two businesses have been destroyed in the fire and other damages because the smoke and heavy water. three people including a firefighter were hospitalized with smoke inhalation. back here live, i can tell you this block continues to be blocked off. the the only thing they're allowing through is -- they tell me the mess will have to be cleaned up quickly.

they have given the owners a limited window to take care of it. because it cannot leave it here like this. we saw someone trying to take materials away. they're worried about looters. all has to be cleaned up quickly and they're giving the property owner a limited window to do it. many firefighters who manned the mission fire all night were called to another fire in san francisco this morning on the eastern slope of twin peaks. it broke out at 4:45 this afternoon on corbett avenue. investigators say a homeowner had a rifle and ammunition in his apartment and that cupped with the heat. nobody was hurt. it took crews more than a half hour to get peopit under contro. part of a freeway is being dedicated in honor of a highway patrol officer murdered in the line of duty two years ago. we want to show you live pictures of the ceremony at the elks lodge. it's just getting underway right

the american doctor infected with the ebola virus arrived in nebraska for treatment. dr. rick sacra is a missionary working with ebola patients in liberia. his ambulance was taken to the hospital in omaha. it has a special isolation unit. sacra is the third american aid worker brought back to the u.s. to beebola. a new study reveals that wearing a bra does not suggest breast cancer. researchers also say it doesn't matter what your cup size is, how would you were when you started wearing a bra, or how long you wear a bra every day. the study is published in cancer epidemiologist. >> i think we better move on to

we want to feed 9 million hungry americans. >> how? >> we have a partnership with show our strength in feeding america. they worked for use with the yum-o organization. the children's organization. part of that -- and the good work we do with michelle obama, of course, and president clinton. i'm working on the obesity issue. we have asked the partners to step up and help us. and we're going to do everything from running marathons and getting sponsors to people making donations and people cooking food for hungry people in our community and in our studio. all of our audience members from all over the country can participate. it's a big goal, but it's an important one. i think as americans we should be feeding each other and taking care of each other. it would be a great way to commit to a community for the season. our show is super fun, too. we have a lot of laughs. >> yeah. we make something wonderful for dinner every night. there's helpful tips and people
