reported a hundredth of an inch. just looking at some of the rain gauges olima valley .06 and near crescent city there were thunderstorms and some pretty heavy rain in the northern california coastline ther from half to three-quarters of an inch. crescent city measured .20 an inch. we are just getting started with this success stem as i pull out here. the system is continuing to spin off the coastline here in the pacific. we still have a very wet commute ahead of us. that's when we are expecting most the showers. back with the de teals on that and a risk of thunderstorms. >> thank you, sandhya. the fire in el dorado county has exploded in size. it has grown to 28,000 acres and threatening more thap 2,000 -- 2,000 homes. earlier this evening governor jerry brown declared a state of emergency for el dorado county and where another wildfire burns. that fire devastated the town

of weed where firefighters sifted through more rubble. officials estimate 110 homes were destroyed and another 90 damaged when part of the town was off run by fire on monday. the fire is now 60% contained. but firefighters are bracing for more wind as they try to bring the 375-acre wildfire under control. remarkably a new blow to the nfl tonight. police in phoenix say they have arrested cardinals' running back jonathon dwyer on aggravated assault charges on a 27-year-old woman and an 18-month-old child the cardinals immediately de activated dwyer from all team activities. this on a day when two more nfl players were ditched. more on those controversies. >> yet another nfl playerpulledf being accused abuse. greg hardy who is appealing these july conviction on domestic abuse charges for assaulting his ex-girlfriend was put on the nfl's exempt list today after taking a

voluntary leave until his case is resolved. >> he is still being paid. he is still part of this football team. in due time he will be back here. >> just this morning the minnesota vickings announced that adrian peterson is banned from all team activities as he faces a child abuse charming accuse -- charge accused of hitting his 4-year-old son with a tree branch. the decision to put peterson on the nfl's exempt list one day after the team announced it would reinstate the former mvp. >> we made a mistake, and we needed to this right. adrian will be away from the team and focus on his personal situation. >> nike announcing that it has suspended its endorsement contract with peterson saying in a statement, nike in no way condones child abuse or domestic violence of any kind and has shared our concerns with the nfl. just last week, nike also ended its deal with former baltimore raven star ray rice,

have played. >> today coach harbaugh stands by the decision to allow mcdonald to play while the investigation plays out. santa cruz county sheriff deputies are searching for a man accused of flashing women. it has happened at least twice in live oak. take a look at video of the suspect running away from the scene. a woman says a man exposed himself as he was jogging on september 12th. she says he ran away after she threatened to call police. chp officers ended up with a pile of contraband this morning of a they arrested two men in two hours in two separate traffic stops in berkeley. they netted two illegal guns and a small pile of cash and five kinds illegal drugs. you can see it all in the picture released by the chp. san francisco supervisor scott wiener is making public his use of a daily anti-viral pill that can reduce the risk of contracting hiv. wiener says he hopes by going public, other gay men will adopt its use.
