giants game. more with the information behind this. leanne? >> reporter: ones going on strike are the golden gate ferry captains that gave reasons for walk out and why they're causing this disruption. >> 9,000 will be affected by the strike. that is the number of people that use the ferries. transit buses will be available but will be on highway 101 and on the bridge. the reason they're going on strike is because of the contract despite between the bridge district and labor unions that include the ferry captains the district offering a 3% salary increase but asking them to contribute more towards their health care. >> round after round has not resulted in a fair contract from
