all ferries will sit. the captains are not working. they are on strike for one difficult. their ferries are not manned. the captains and the union and the management of the golden gate bridge district cannot grow on a contract. the sticking point is health care. there are only 16 ferry captains but they have quite an impact, 9,000 people take the ferries to work each day. >> i have to take the because. it will be included. so will be bridge. i take the ferry to miss the traffic from the city to the bridge. i am in novato. >> it does not impact only people headed to work, giants fans, they have canceled special ferry that get people from marin county to the game. no ferry service for commuters or baseball fans.

on sunday. >> the new eastern span of the bay bridge shows several giant steel rods exposed to water possibly through years and it could cause corrosion. the problem was detected last week and found in all of the dozen rods. workers have drained the water but fours do not know if they are damaged. this year rain water was found dripping into the steel structure below the road deck on the suspension stretch of the span and that was supposed to be watertight. the water poses a risk of corrosion could make the structure thin and weak. it is believed that police know who shot a man in a neighborhood after a victim was found at 5:00 p.m. last night. they believe he was shot a few blocks away. witnesses say people riding inside a jeep got into a fight with a man on the street who fired several time and the jeep.
