a short time ago and you can see through some of the ones where the detectives are inside, searching for evidence. a this point we know they were called at 3:00 this morning when police say a burglar entered law an open kitchen window. a woman was in the kitchen and her husband woke up, confronting the burglar and he stabbed the homeowner, in his 50's, multiple times. they do not know if he was armed or used a knife from the kitchen. the burglar took off running. >> i arrived on the scene and they found the victim homeowner pleading profusely and he was transported to the hospital. a perimeter was is the up and they legislated -- he elected the suspect. >> witnesses say the home owner looks bad but the condition is stabilizing and he now is currently at a local hospital.

scene. tiffany? we will start off with the good news. the home owner is in the hospital. his condition is stabilizing. he survived a terrifying ordeal. it started at 3:00 in the morning. police say a burglary break into the house through an open kitchen window. his sister went downstairs and the home owner woke up to the sound of commotion. he ran downstairs to find his sister and the birth -- both in the kitchen. the burglar stabbed the homeowner multiple times. police arrived and he was pleading profacely. >> this is unusual. usually we get calls of burglary occurring to a vehicle or homes that occur in the daytime but for to happen, speakerring a resolution -- enter the resident and injured the homeowner, that
