highway 4 busier throughñi antih from 160 to a street, still 17 minutes. >> breaking news from san leandro. two people are in custody suspected of shoplifting and opening fire in a walmart store. around midnight two people attempted to shoplift when they were approached by a loss prevention officer. one of the suspects started shooting inside the store. the suspects and the officer got into a big fight. alyssa harrington is at the scene. more in a live report in 30 minutes. >> developing nows. >> an unknown amount of expensive wine. amy hollyfield is live in walnut creek.ñi >> you look at the scene here. they have so much evidence to go

through but a key piece jumped out. they arrested 49-year-old arthur holden, accused him of arson and commercial burglary. they found physical evidence on him along with stolen property from the business. police say they spotted. they check surveillance footage and saw holden near the sea. they described him this is a wine storage facility. a wine keeper keeps wine intended for distribution here. police haven't said what they believe the motive is behind this arson. they say holden was on parole for theft and is now in jail. reporting live in walnut ñrcree amy holly field, abc seven news. >> also new this morning,

firefighters were investigating a fire at an abandoned building in downtown rodeo. it broke out overnight on first street near railroad avenue sending thick plumes of smoke into the air. crews got it under control before it spread. no word if there were squatters living inside. >> there was an attack of two fans. it happened at the 49ers game against the chiefs yesterday. inside a bathroom on the north side of the stadium. the victims were taken to the hospital. one with severe head injuries. no word on their condition this morning. the two suspects were arrested and booked into county jail. police haven't said what led to the attack. police in anaheim are looking for three men suspected of brutally beating an off duty police officer in the angels stadium parking lot. police say the 43-year-old father of three was walking with his cousin to their car after

the angels playoff game against kansas city friday night when they were attacked. the officer was taken to the hospital where he's list maryland critical condition. his cousin wasn't injured. >> developing now in the nation's heart land the american photo journalist bho contracted ebola is in nebraska for treatment. abc is monitoring the new development from washington, d.c. good morning. >> good morning. health officials say either opposed to a travel ban from ebola stricken nations. they can control the spread. now an update on the patients in this country. >> reporter: this morning another ebola patient arrived in the u.s. for treatment. ashoka mukpo, a 33-year-old freelance camera man for nbc news who was infected while in liberia will be treated in nebraska. thomas eric duncan, the first person diagnosed with ebola in the u.s. remains in critical condition at a dallas hospital.

his family said he's un conscious and on dialysis. his girlfriend is in quarantine and is frustrated with the care. >> i don't think they are doing enough. >> duncan's girlfriend and family are having their temperatures taken twice a day while haz-mat crews work to decontaminate his apartment. neighbors are worried. >> being here scares me. >> reporter: the cdc is monitoring nine high risk patient who is came in direct contact with duncan. although ebola isn't airborne and can only spread through contact with bodily fluids, health officials are leave nothing to chance. cdc workers have been responding to possible cases of ebola. >> our top priority is the safety of americans. i remain quite confident we won't have a widespread outbreak.

shoplifters faced off and shots were fired while other shoppers were inside the store. alyssa harrington was live at the walmart on davis and west gate park way. >> i just got off the phone with walmart spokesman aaron mull lynns who tells me we are thankful that our customers and associates are safe this morning. we are still gathering information and are working closely with police at this time. here's video from earlier. at the walmart parking lot here. police searched a car. they took pictures and interviewed several people on scene. this started when customers tried to shoplift around midnight. witnesses say two guys tried to walk out with stolen merchandise. as they approached the check out counter a security guardç stopd them. they got into a physical fight and one of the suspects opened fire. terrified customers scrambled to find safety.

condition after a hit-and-run accident in san francisco. the victim was hit near valencia around 7:30. witnesses say the driver hit the man and kept going. police surrounded the vehicle and a 20-year-old man suspected of stabbing his mother over the weekend is set to be arraigned tomorrow. he told a neighbor he stabbed his mother saturday night. investigators say he stayed at that time scene and was cooperative with officers. he was arrested on suspicion of murder and booked into jail with no bail. no word on a motive. >> the american photo journalist who contracted ebola while working in west africa arrived in the u.s. for treatment. he arrived in nebraska an hour ago. he'll get treatment in ohm that. thomas duncan has taken a turn for the worse. officials say duncan is on a respirator fighting for his life.

amy? >> hi. police zeroed in on a piece of evidence right when they got here. they were immediately suspiciousle. it led to an arrest. they got the call to come here to civic drive in walnut creek at 9:20 last night. a wine storage facility was on fire. it's called wesley ashley. a wine maker in san the that rosa uses this space to store wines for distribution. when investigators arrived they saw a gas can sitting here at the scene. they were suspicious right away. they then checked the surveillance footage from a nearby business. investigators say they spotted a known transient near the fire scene. they found him and arrested him. police say they found stolen property from the business on him along with physical evidence from the fire.
