live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. look at this, people are gathering do want parade of ships along san francisco's waterfront. the fire boats in the bay are welcoming the blue angels, as well, as part of threat week celebration with anticipation higher this year because fleet week was canceled last year because of federal budget cuts. the celebration of our armed forces is also a time for the

military to share tips on disaster preparedness. we will be disas eled by performances on land and sea and air. amy hollyfield is at the san francisco marina. we kickoff with a parade of ships, the beautiful blue angels are on the water, a beautiful sight of the ships coming through just getting started. after the parade there will be free tours of the navy ships at pier 27, 30 and 30 with a lost dignitaries in the congratulate club watching this including mayor lee kickoff the fleet week weekend with the parade of ships. this is just the beginning of a very full weekend. the skies draw huge crowds but fleet week has taken over chris

>> covering novato, oakland, sunnyvale and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. >> happening right now, cal fire is holding a news conference on the crash that killed a bay area pilot this week. they have lifted the hold on 22 firefighting air tankers after a crash on tuesday in yosemite that killed 62-year-old craig hunt of san jose. there will be counsel setting to any pilot who needs it and they have completed the onsite investigation. nothing led temperature to believe anything was mechanically wrong with the plane. he has been fighting fires for 15 years as a pilot. >> the giants announced the starting pitcher for game one of the series tomorrow if st. louis and to no one's surprise it is madison bumgarner.

i don't think the air show is getting in but the blue ain't joels will have a light start. tomorrow and sunday are the best boat. from the east bay hills we have a cloud deck to the west and to the east the only place with sunshine is the east bay develop and you can see the clouds and they are opening a little bit around sausalito but that is it. cooler today. warm this weekend. could be one of the last really warm weekends with autumn next week and in between we have fire and beach concerns we will talk about this weekend. first, we will talk about the high tide, low-to-mid average upper 60's in richmond and oakland and low-to-mid 70's in the rest of the bay shore and lowity in the north bay and low-to-mid 80's inland where the temperatures are going to be dose to average. tonight is a lot like this morning, with a lot of cloud cover when you wake up tomorrow, and limited fog and drizzle because the marine layer is thick and low-to-mid 50's when you head outside.
