exgirlfriend before turning the gun on himself, but could police have done something to stop the tragedy? >> that's what police are asking and tonight defending the deadly dispute. i'm dan ashley. >> i'm ama dates. it happened south of market in san francisco. police received four 9-1-1 calls in the hours that lead up to the final and deadly >> sergio has the story. >> the woman kept calling police to say her ex-boyfriend who used to live with her would not leave her alone. and even after hours in jail he made a violent return. >> this was one of the final dispatch calls. shots fired and two people hit. >> hiding in the close is the and the the ex-boyfriend and the roommate were in the hallway. >> 29-year-old young forced these way into the complex and shot his ex-girlfriend and then fatally shot himself. she was hit in the chest and

remained at san francisco general hospital. over the span of nine hours says they received a series of 9-1-1 calls. the last call at 8:30 they say young wouldn't stop ringing her door bell, but she hung up after the nuisance ended. 45 minutes later another call. police respond and convince young to leave. less than an hour later young returnss in tokes indicated -- intoxicated so police book him for being drunk in public. he smendz the night in jail. at 4:00 a.m. he shows up. she called police. police watch as she allowed him in and helped him back and he leaves. an hour later he somehow forces his way back into her home. >> getting another call. he is whispering that his roommate was shot. >> police say this is troubling because young had been arrested two years ago for felony domestic violence.

>> it was dismissed by the district attorney's office because the victims refused prosecution. >> san francisco police are reviewing how this morning was has beened. was handled. but officers followed procedure. abc7 news. >> president obama is raising money for democrats. here you can see him arriving on air force 1 earlier this evening. his big event was at the w hotel. katie is there live where there was a mix of gridlock, protesters and donors. >> this area came to a stand still as they were here. the protesters were here president chaing long before -- chanting long before that. >> all right.

we will get back to that report. sorry about the trouble. however, dozens of people had to rearrange their friday night plans for the visit. for nearly five hours no one was allowed to leave the parking garage on fourth and mission. roads were shutdown during the president's event and drivers were absolutely stuck. >> i am supposed to go to a party, but we end up being here. >> so we get out and didn't come back. we did some shopping too. >> and drivers are venting their frustration with traffic on twitter tonight and even starting an obama jam hash tag to describe the gridlock. now tomorrow morning president obama will attend a round table at the pacific heights home of the zynga co-founder. each will pay up to $32,400 to exchange views with the president. now we will continue to follow the president's bay area visit on air and on-line.

for up to the minute news follow us on twitter at abc7 news bay area. a simple soccer game was quickly a heated clash in san francisco's mission district. it all happened about two weeks ago at the mission park soccer field. it was posted on youtube. a group of young tech workers tried to kick some local teens off the field because the workers reserved it through the city. the teens refused to go saying it was always a place for pick up games. things got worse when they argued money can't change the neighborhood rules that were in place for years. we checked in the city allows people to reserve the field for $27 an hour. new at 11:00, a car crashes and ends up on the front lawn of a house. it happened in mountain view. a car turned on to california street from chough -- chiquita

tonight is temporarily ordering officers to stop working off duty security jobs for the 49ers. now that comes after we learned the niners star ray mcdonald permanently called a sergeant who moon lighted for the team. the sergeant arrived before other officers who responded to a 9-1-1 domestic violence call. it appears that call was not

made until after the sergeant was at the home. the independent police auditor says off duty jobs can create a conflict of interest when an employer is involved in a crime. >> i can't envision a situation where there isn'lict r conflict of interest where there is a police officer who is working secondary employment for companies or businesses that make money. >> ray mcdonald has not been charged and no long how long the moonlighting ban will be in place for police officers in san jose. a young child falling into the jaguar exhibit at the little rock zoo sent nearby visitors visitors and staff rushing to his rescue. now, that report on how this all happened. >> 9-1-1. >> we need somebody at the little rock zoo. we have somebody fell into the tiger enclosure and the tiger attacked the baby. >> a frightening happening. a boy falling two stories into a jaguar exercise.

the boy's father calling for help and throwing things, a water hose and a camera bag as they attacked his son on his foot and neck. >> she in there? >> yes, it is not good. >> once zoo staff arrived they kept the jaguars at bay with fire distinguishers and lowering a ladder into the pit and then pulling the boy to safety. the toddler is conscious and responsive. >> we saw the car go by with a child and his head pleading and we are trying to figure out what is going on. . >> the youngster is in critical condition with extensive scalp lacerations and a depressed skull sphwrook tour. the child's name has not been disclosed and his family is not releasing any further medical information. the reports are the injuries are not life-threatening. for now, the jaguar exhibit is temporarily closed and a full investigation into the incident is underway. >> abc news, new york. this is unbelievable. imagine standing in your house and watching poisonous spiders
