live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> something went wrong in the hospital. those two people should not have gotten infected. >> alarming new evidence in the ebola virus crisis as the second nurse testing positive for ebola at same hospital. the situation at a dallas hospital is literally going viral. a second health care worker is being treated for ebola. a family member tells abc that the woman's name is amber vincent. she took a flight day before she started having symptoms and the

centers for disease control wants to interview everyone on the plane with her. >> we are in dallas with the latest. yes, we are told the nurse came down with a never yesterday. immediately she drove herself to the hospital and in 90 minutes was if isolation. the centers for disease control say she in stable condition and will be transferred to emory university in atlanta later today. >> another health care worker at the dallas hospital infected with ebola. like herç colleague, nina pham, still hospitalized, the nurse was part of the team of 77 people involved in treating the ebola patient who died. the others being monitored with concerns there could still be more cases. >> it could get worse before it gets better. it will get better. >> team of experts are trying to figure out how the two women contracted ebola. the largest nurse's union in the country claims the hospital made serious mistakes alleging in

large thick smoke because of an engine fire on the ferry moving rapidly to the top deck, forcing passengers to jump into the bay. the water is cold, as you know, and many of the passengers can not swim. remember, this is a training drill. more than 40 passengers with injuries from smoke inhalation and burns to problemmen bones. it is key to working with other responders when tragedy strikes. >> communication is difficult when you have various agencies. this is a drill to find where we need to improve and strength were the areas that are strong and to create a great working network with the amendments that depend on each other. >> you hat golden gate bridge ferry and you had park services and san francisco fire department. the teams want to make sure the communications work. there were a couple of incidents everyone is aware of, the tanker that hit the bay bridge but the

ferry accident just a few days ago. they want to be ready if tragedy strikes because more people are, indeed, on the bay. a preliminary report shows the air tanker that crashed in yosemite national park may have hit a tree before it want down. the ntsb says that pilot craig hunt was working with other planes whose coordinated exact locations to drop retardant on the dog rock fire and it appeared to hit a tree with the wing and it ripped off before the crash. he was killed. this is a preliminary report. the ntsb is still investigating. >> the south bay c.h.p. is investigating a six vehicle crash on the san jose freeway. this truck carrying the blue water overturned and spilled the liquid all crass the rains on southbound 280 at 1st street at 5:00 a.m. impacting the morning commute. it took crews two hours to clean up the mess and clear the scene.

two people suffered minor injuries. >> you can see the road was wet and we have rain later today but we will get to that if a moment. a police officer will visit a 28-year-old crash victim he helped to rescue. the victim is at regional medical center recovering from the crash in stable condition with injuries to her leg and stomach. vasquez drove her car down a ravine in an accident and the rescuer could not find her until 3:00 yesterday morning when a police officer went to the house, spotted the ipad and realized he could use the "fine my ipad app," to track her down. >> i noticed she only had 12 percent bat friday in the phone and i was able to take a screen shots of the location which indicatedded on ma'am monday road. >> the family rushed to the hospital and they are asking for your prayers and for some privacy. >> what will be the story

the san francisco public utilities commission is celebrating the completion of a new tunnel beneath the san francisco bay the longest ever built under the bay that will withstand a big earthquake on the hayward fault and will provide millions of people in the bay area with fresh children water from the reservoir and yosemite national park. it has been in the works for years. in 2002 voters approved the upgrade of the aging system.

have 100 jet stream over the top of us shooting another system our way and that will come in open friday. in san jose, 280 at 17, put the umbrellas away and get the sunglasses out. as we look from the east bay hills camera you can see the cumulus building and the moisture is still left in the air with the warmth that creates the buoyancy needed and we will have a stray shower. the best chance of that is down away the south bay and the higher elevations on either side of the santa clara valley. most of us are in the mid-60's but we do have 70's in hayward and los gatos and only 61 right now with rain in fairfield. from emeryville, it looks gorgeous with showers tapering and sun and chance of rich, friday and saturday and monday and tuesday and cool autumn air and the seven-day forecast. headed to the south, low-to-mid 70s and santa cruz is only 67. we will have upper 60's to low 70 on the peninsula and mid-60's along the coast until deal city
