>> california ban on plastic bags is drawing big money enjoy from the national plastics industry. the industry is pouring in $1 million mostly from companies based outside california to gather signatures by the end of the december for a measure to undo or delay the law. they hope to have enough signatures to get it on the 2016 ballot. the national plastic industry is very nervous. california is seen as a place where policy ideas graduate to national concerns.
