the weather. mike? check out this beautiful picture. matt is at civic center plaza and near city hall near and we thought we would start with a beautiful picture of orange october shot for the morning. we will move on and talk about radar and satellite with clouds to the west rolling over our neighborhood in the afternoon. that means high clouds and sunshine, the ferry building is orange and use that as a backdrop to talk about the temperatures, so far above a average, 79 to 83 inland and the coast is 70 to 75 and ambassador the bay, 75 to 80. traffic? what is going on? >> very easy. we are looking over to walnut creek and driver is only taking nine minutes on 680. a few extra cars on the road but it is moving along without any problems and nothing to get in your way.

bay regional bay property on university avenue right next to interstate 80 on the way to the berkeley marina. a few witnesses saw a couple people run away from the seen and a car in the opposite direction. >> the businesses were closed. everyone associated with the business is accounted for. >> police say they have not found a car near the seen so they do not know how the victim got here and they have not released any information or what the motive is. there is a surveillance video pointing right toward where this shooting happened, and police are looking into whether there is video of the murder. the police say they are very busy trying to solve this crime and they say if anyone saw anything or knows anything they are hoping that person will come in with information.

the trial challenging a decision by the accreditation committee for city of college resumes after dramatic testimony. the commission president admitted that she edited language favorable to the city college out of a report and testified that she did not give the school a chance to defend itself as required. losing acredittization could shut down the college. lawyers are trying to prove the commission had political motives for denying accreditation and engaged in unfair practices and illegally denied the school due process. >> former president bill clinton is holding a rally encouraging people to vote and joined by a democratic congresswoman and congressman and will address the importance of voting for middle class advocates underway at

new deal -- data shows there is no improve to the bay area roads in years and have been mediocre for a decade. the survey graded 43,000 miles of streets and roads throughout the region on 100-point scale. brentwood was best at 86. followed by dublin at 85. the largest cities were average, san francisco, rated at 65. san jose at 62. oakland at 60. the worst received a grade of 40. everyone will be driving on dry roads.
