alternative sites to help them cast ballots today. >> continuing our live coverage now, abc7 news is keeping an eye in san francisco. only three voters is expected to vote. >> well, they're predicting a low turn out throughout the state. there are 46% expected to show up. if that is true it could be a record low for california the director of elections doesn't think that will be the case here, proposition e, soda tax has gotten a lot of press and a lot of national attention. >> this content draws voters. if it's a low turn out then the content didn't draw the voters.

an initiative to relax san jose's tough regulations on pot clubs will be on the ballot two years from now. the city council decided to pass the issue on to voters. abc7 news is live with the this new development. vic? >> voters will have a choice between two different policies. you have a current city policy, which is restrictive. on the other hand have you pro visions of the initiative which are very lenient. city council voted to push the initiative to the general election two years from now. it has three choices. hold a special election

no one liked. initiative would overturn the ordinance on pot clubs, rule that's limit dispensaries to a handful of areas that makeup less than 1% of the city. >> this is a loosy goosy system. >> the fines range from $2500 to $50,000. pot store owners say the current rules are nothing short of a crack down by the city. and that regulations are making it impossible to do business here. the all-american cannibis club shut down doors at its own location. it's moved this operation to its campel store on an upper floor of the building. mayor reid says 14 of the 80-some pot clubs have found other locations within the allowable zoning areas.
