woman went to a fraternity party at uc berkeley on halloween night and she believes she took the date rain drug and was assaulted by a from fraternity member. police say they cannot proceed until they hear from the victim. police say this is a variety of reasons why some victims choose to stay quiet. >> sometimes with sexual assault cases maybe circumstances if they felt they were too inebriated or not aware of what the actual laws are pertaining to sexual assault. >> uc berkeley police have similar cases including the theta delta chi when five women ingested the rape drug but no victims have come forward. police say date rape drugs are extremely potent and the victim could not fend off an attack.

national guard helicopter. it crashed last night in a field two miles south of the national guard base near boise international airport. it was on a training mission. both crew members were pronounced dead at the seen. in canada an emergency landing is under investigation in edmonton as the plane hit the runway. of 75 passengers and crew three were hospitalized with injuries. officials say the plane experienced problems after taking off from calgary. they did not specify what happened during landing but they were away of reports of a blown tire or faulty landing gear. the republican route in washington could spell more trouble for california's high-speed rail project. g.o.p. member of congress have been skeptical of the need for the $68 billion train and the way the program has been manager. that could make it tough to get additional help from washington but the governor says california
