police find a young man dead inside a fraternity house at uc berkeley the day after a big party. hello. let's get right to the latest developments on the news. the body found inside the sze a -- zeta psi practice certainly house. lillian and. >> it's been very quiet here at the zeta psi house today. the coroner's office removed the body within the hour. officers have been here all afternoon processing a scene. they say a 20-year-old man was

found dead in a room upstairs. he is not a member of the fraternity and is not a student at uc berkeley. police say he was one of the attendees of the large party held at the house last night. however officers are erring on the side of caution. a witness says vomit was found around the man's mouth when he was discovered. no telling how long he was lying on the floor. police got the call about an unresponsive male this afternoon. >> we responded to a report of a welfare check on a 20-year-old male who was face down in a room here in the building, and so we arrived here and found a deceased 20-year-old male and we're investigating. reporter: members of the fraternity are not talking. zeta psi is not officially

recognized by the campus. the man's name will not be released until family members are notified. >> thank you. right now, federal investigators looking into small plane crash that killed two people. an faa spokesman says the plane crashed last night near gilroy. the wreckage was just found this morning. the plane was traveling from holster to watsonville. the family of a missing san francisco man traveled from canada to join in the search for him. 26-year-old dan ha has last seen leaving his apartment on halloween. here's the latest on this developing story. alyssa, you talked with his parents? reporter: i did. as you can imagine they are devastated. they're staying in dan's paper hope thing find something in there that offers them a clue where he might be. friends posted thousands of these fliers. they're now offering a $500 reward for information that helps find him. >> i miss him so much.

sick from his job at an developer in soma. he left his apartment that night with his wallet and has not returned. his parents say if he was really sick he would never wander off. he would stay in bed. friends and coworkers are desperate to find him. they have printed 3,000 fliers, posting them on just about every pole, wall, and business window they can find. they're raising money for searches and started a facebook page hoping for lead. anyone with information should call police in san francisco, abc7 news. >> emergency management crews are still trying to figure out what triggered san francisco's sirens to sound twice overnight. the city's air raid like alarms went off at 11:00 last night in hunter's point neighborhood and then again 59:00 a.m. in areas of san francisco. department officials say a message followed both times to let people know there was no real emergency. but still they received a lot of

calls. >> we also pushed messages out on twitter, sent out media advisory. to let people know that the sirens went off but there's no emergency. >> officials say crews could trigger the sirens again while trouble shooting the problem and will provide update as necessary. crews in napa are still working to repair a water main break releasing tens of thousands of gallons of water into city storm dramas. it hand yesterday morning at first and laurel streets. we have photos from neighbors showing crews working to repair the 36-inch pipe. nearly 200 homes will have intermittent water service for the next 48 hours. the city set up temporary water stations at pressure n -- century oaks park. officials suspect quake quarterback may be responsible for the break. >> details bat wrong-way crash on the bay bridge that involved four cars and backed up traffic for hours. the wrongway driver is carrie

mortgage again of vacaville. she is in jail facing charms of felony dui, drug possession driving without a license. investigators say she was driving towards san francisco but in the eastbound lanes and went more than a mile before hit throwing oncoming cars. this is just before 8:30 last night. one driver who was hit suffered a broken leg. all eastbound lanes of the bridge were closed for 15 minutes and traffic reduced to two lanes for nearly two hours. the lower deck of the bay bridge basically became a parking lot. some drivers got frustrated, thankfully tried- -- actually tried to back off the on ramp, and one of those drivers nearly caused another accident. eventually drivers slowly and mostly patiently inched on to the bridge. a san jose family was able to safely escape a house fire this morning but the fire leaves five people homeless and a dog

was killed. firefighters responded to the escape just after 5:00 this morning. investigators say it appears the fire started outside of the home. another fire, this one in antioch, drove a family of five out of their home. the fire marshal credits smoke detectors for helping everyone escape the flames at the home at buffalo court. fire crews think they'd determined the cause of the fire. >> we think it was barbecue on at the front of blown -- the front porch, but the home owner had been cooking in a barbecue earlier in the evening on the front porch. >> firefighters were able to save the family's pet rat. it took crews about an thundershower get the flames under control. an update on the death of a young gorilla at the sannance zoo. a spokesman says the gorilla clones sure's hydraulic door did have a fully favreing manual

shutoff switch but was not mushed in time to save kabibe. the spokesman would not say if the door has an automatic pressure stop or electronic censor. she was killed when she darted under the door as it was closing. the zoo will review policies, procedures and training. >> demonstrators took to the streets of san francisco today, demanding justice for the 43 missing students now presumed dead in southern mexico elm students disappeared last september, including 19-year-old is recall hasento from san jose. mexican authority says three drug gang members confessed to to murders. authorities found badly burned human remains in a riverbed near the school in mexico. >> have over 24,000 already people dead in mexico, and they say they are the cartels but we know that's not true. that we have a corrupt

>> san francisco celebrated america's 25 million veterans with its 95th null veterans day parade. the event neat tours hundreds of vietnam vets, military bands and the air force band of the golden west, san francisco junior rotc students. the royal family attended remembrance sunday services today at the u.k. pays tribute to fallen troops. prince harry joined troops in afghanistan and laid a wreath with them. this year marks the 100in' anniversary of the start of world war i and 70 years since the d-day landing and the year britain ended its combat role in afghanistan after 1 -- 13 years of fighting. >> thousands gathered to celebrated the end of the fall

seasonable. satellite and radar, changes are coming. high pressure right now still controlling the weather, bringing us sunshine tomorrow, look off to the north and a ribbon of clouds, that's a cold front and that can dislodge this area of high pressure, allow cooler air to filter in but not getting as cold as in the upper midwest. winter storm warnings out for several states in the upper midwest over the next 36 hours, and areas could see more than a foot of snow. especially around twin cities. minneapolis, more than a foot of snow, and we'll be dealing with rain in the bay area by mid-week. looking at the forecast, for sunday and monday, coastal clouds tomorrow morning, that's going to pull back and we'll see sunshine throughout the region. temperatures still on the warm side but edging down each and

every day getting to mid-week with the rain event. here's the forecast. the long-range model, laid wednesday and thursday, here's comes the rain and south and east of san francisco, just some light sprinkles, less than a tenth of an inch. but the farther north in the north bay, could see as much as a quarter inch of rain. the timing and amount of rain could change. we'll keep updating the forecast. overnight tonight we'll see mainly clear skies except around the bay some the coast. we'll have fog in the north bay. 42, napa 5. 3 overnight san san francisco. highs for tomorrow, total sunshine across much of the region. 70, san francisco. 75, vallejo. 77, san jose. 78, concord. the accuweather forecast, veterans day looking great but wednesday and this, increasing clouds and then thursday morning, light showers and temperatures not getting out of
