and throw it on other truck. that will take a while. necessity will lose all the food and turkeys, happening when the driver took the exit too fast and flipped. this is the off-ramp southbound 680 in san rafael. the off-ramp is closed and blocked by the truck. there were two people inside when it crashed. they were rescued. they have minor injuries. they will be okay. >> lucky to be able to walk away from an accident like this because of the we magnitude of the scene and to be able to walk away is lucky. authorities have pumped the fuel from the truck. now they have to unload the turkeys, 45,000 pounds of frozen turkeys. the turkeys now are probably

going to spoil and not make it to the thanksgiving table. the good news is, this is not impacting interstate traffic. this happened off of 680 at the off-ramp at san ramon valley boulevard with a couple of lanes shut down and the off-ramp is closed. it is inconvenient for residents getting on or off 680. it is fought a major impact. 680 will be okay. this will take a while. officials estimate they are reasonable going to be here until at least 10:00 in morning. >> from the east bay authorities are looking for the driver of a car that hit and hilled a high school student while tracing the driver near san lenadro and the suspect's vehicle hit a

14-year-old boy in the crosswalk. he died on impact. he was a student at san lorenzo while. the accidentties say they called off the chase's the accident but resumed it after the boy was hit. deputies tried to pull the driver over for reckless driver. matt keller will have more at 6:30. today lawyers for the man convicted of killing washington dc intern, and modesto native chandry levy will request a new trial. the lawyers claim he was convicted based on misleading temperature by his former cellmate. a judge will decide whether to give him a new trial but that decision will not come until some time next year. a space mission 10 years and four billion miles in the making is hours away from possible completion. scientists are trying to

land a space probe on a comet moving at tens of thousands of miles an hour. what makes this mission so risky. >> they have never done it before and we may see the first pictures and scientists say behind the program they are confident they will come in and we will love with we see. the probe was built and launched by the european space agency and after 1:00 o'clock this morning scientists say the lander has separated from the probe and is on way to becoming the first spacecraft to touch down on a comet. descent will take seven hours. it has crossed the solar system on the side of probe and could not be released. it had to be in the right spot to allow release. >> it is now receiving a signal from the lander.

4:00 this morningçó and amy hollyfield is along the interstate 680 with cleanup underway. these work crews are not feeling so thankful. look what they are having to do, to off load 45,000 pounds of frozen turkey from the overturned big rig. they cannot upright the overturned one until it is empty the turkeys are going to spoil. the oil was trying to get a refrigerator truck but the c.h.p. said we have to move along and open up the off-ramp. this is the off-ramp southbound 680 and san ramon where the big rig flipped on its side and is blocking it. it is not in use this morning. do not count on this off-ramp. a few lanes are blocked at san ramon boulevard and this area is one to avoid or ad a couple of

will have pictures at look this morning. this is a probe launched by the european space agency. scientists confirmed the lander separated from the probe and is on the way to be the first spacecraft to touch down on a comet and will take seven hours. it has been on side of the probe for 10 years and could not be steered. when it was released it was on its own and was in exactly the right spot to allow the traffic to free fall. >> we can wait for the initial data to come like perks next five hours until touchdown. >> with both objects moving this is not an easy mission and the comet has crateers and boulders and when it lands it will use crews to secure its position.
