shooting at florida state university has injured two people. police are on the campus in tallahassee with the caption a gunman opened fire at fs you. the university issued an alert. you can see it here. the message warns of a, quote, dangerous situation. people were told to stay away from doors and windows. we will continue to follow this breaking story and bring you details as they become available. >> and we have more breaking news. two earthquakes struck santa cruz, san benito and the first was 4.8 and the second was 4.2. the large e was two miles south of san juan batista. no reports of injuries or damage. >> and our breaking news coverage continues on twitter at abc7 news bay area. good evening. i'm dan ashley. >> i'm ama. it is a dangerous and deadly night on bay area roadways.

treatments at the san francisco office today found -- it was a locked door. no note and no explanation. a dental hygenist saw confused customers in the hallway. the office like this in berkeley closed on friday. employees lost jobs and skin care clients lost their appointments. >> i would sue them. >> this client wanted to remain anonymous. >> it is unprofessional the way they are handling this going out of business thing. >> she financed future treatments. >> i am losing my money because i lost the package advantage. >> the company did not return calls, only offering a brief statement on the website saying all clinics are closed and we regret the impact. very poor yelp reviews and a 7 on your side investigation show a repeated pattern of dissatisfaction. in 2011, a woman sought michael finney's help after american laser skin care delayed her refund.

took action. >> he did everything right. he started to run and he started to scream and headed for the diamond cafe. he went with his gut. >> he was traumatized, but not physically hurt. the principal sent a letter notifying parents about the scare and police are looking for that man. and new details, santa cruz high school will re-open tomorrow after a threatening e-mail prompted the school to close. the principal received the e-mail last night. it included specific information about an attack against the school. police and school officials answered parents' questions during a meeting. extra officers will be at the school tomorrow. we are going to show you some crooks caught in the act. homeowners in the south bay are hoping you can help identify them. these men broke in and stole heirloom jewelry. the crime captured on surveillance cameras. katie is live at the santa clara county substation with the video and the story. katie?

in. jay it senses when you are not at home. when you are not home and the iphone is no longer is in the building it records when it senses activity or loud noises. i.. >> you can see them covering their faces, but with his hands full one burglar reveals himself and looks into the camera. >> we hope that is enough evidence for somebody to recognize him and come forward and help us get our things back. >> the sheriff's office say they are seeing more of these home burglaries and they encourage people to report anyone suspicious in their neighborhood. in saratoga, abc7 news. >> a curious cat got spooked when a pair of burglars used a crowbar to break into a home. police hope this video will help lead to an arrest in the case. you can see one of the thieves removed and destroyed the camera. the video was already up loaded to a cloud server.

animal control had to respond to some dear fighting behind some homes. this incident was particularly tricky because the dear had their antlers entangled. alan wang shows us what happened next as it was all caught on tape. course. their apartment leers were locked together bike something unnatural. >> there were wires and rope that were left there by contractor expses one of them got tied up in it. it was tied to its antlers. >> they say neighbors called contra costa animal services to the property behind his house. you can see the officers trying to untangle the deer. one buck was dead and an officer placed a sheet over the surviving buck's head to calm him down and carefully began cutting away the rope. >> the hoofs are dangerous as are the antlers.

saturday morning. here is what brought us today's rain. foggy for your morning drive and we are watching two more storms. thursday a burst of rain and saturday we will see rainy conditions for the morning. this is the warmer of the two storms. when you look at our computer animation, tomorrow morning it is foggy and misty in the morning hours. as we head toward 11:00 a.m. the first batch of rain with the cold front arrives to the north bay. by 1:00 p.m. it is across the heart of the bay area with moderate to heavy rain showing up. behind it for the evening rush we will see pockets of showers. it could be briefly heavy. 5:00 a.m. on friday we are seeing the fog around. cloud cover for the rest of your friday. by saturday in the wee hours of the morning light to moderate rain moves in and it spreads. 9:00 if you have the early plans, saturday 9:00 a.m. make sure you have your rain gear.

the rain pushes out of here and 5:00 p.m. we are looking for cloud cover remaining. the rainfall totals right on thraw saturday. that's two storms, the next two storms included. one to two inches included. most are a quarter to three quarters of an inch. we are talking a half an inch to an inch of rain. i wish i could say it means a lot of snow, but at this point a few inches for the thursday system. saturday mostly rain. the snow levels will be coming up quite high. then eventually they are dropping. we will call for a few inches of snow. the temperatures in the morning are on the cool side. mid40s to the low 50s. you will need a jacket or coat. watch out for the fog. allow the extra time for the morning commute. you are gonna need it tomorrow. tomorrow afternoon make sure you have your umbrella. a cool day. mid50s to the low 60s. just in case you are going to the big game on saturday, stanford-cal, memorial stadium, low to mid60s. there is a chance of showers,
