take my bicycle the seven-day outlook. >> breaking news coming from ohio where two young children are hospitalized and being tested for ebola. they were taken to a column because hospital early this morning after they came down with a fever. that ohio hospital is working with the cdc. the children, ages 4 and 6, recently traveled to west africa. emts wearing protective gear have transported the children to the hospital. the test results should be known by early this afternoon. if those children are positive for the virus, the emergency personnel will begin being monitored. developing news out of san francisco this morning where police have released a sketch of a man who sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl in a playground restroom. officers say the suspect is a white man with brown air between 30 and 40 years old. he was wearing an orange sweatshirt when he ran away late

friday afternoon. parents tell us lafayette park is one of the safest parks they can imagine. victim is expected to cover. the wait continues, the tension grows this morning in and around ferguson, missouri. tomorrow a grand jury will resume deliberationings on when to bring charges against a white police officer for killing an unarmed black teenager. precautions are being taken in case there is violence, though the victim's family has called for peace whatever the outcome. abc's karen traverse joins us live from clayton, missouri with the story. good morning, karen. good morning, carolyn. demonstrations have been taking part daily here but for the most part they are peaceful and orderly. the grand jury took the weekend

just after midnight the chp received 911 calls of a wrongway driver going northbound in the southbound lanes of san antonio drive. the car slammed head on into a sentra. two were dead at the scene. a female passenger is hospitalized. the third vehicle, a pickup truck, was involved in the crash but that driver was uninjured. officers believe alcohol was a factor. new this morning, a san francisco mom and dad are breathing sighs of relief after find their 12-year-old daughter, who had been missing for almost two weeks. aman. was found by her parents riding a muni bus yesterday afternoon. she had been missing since november 10th when her further said she may have been lured aby a stranger on social media. there were fears that amani may

forecast. >> controversial former washington, d.c. mayor marion barry has died. he served as mayor in the 1980. a spokesperson said barry died shortly after midnight at a hospital in washington, d.c. no cause of death has been given. despite his problems, barry maintained a solid following, particularly in the black sections of the city. he was elected to the city council in 2004. marion barry, dead at the age of 78. >> new details out of japan this morning where aerial surveys are showing more damage than previously thought from yesterday's earthquake. a magnitude 6.7 tumbler his near the city of nagano. 37 homes have been destroyed, 38

damaged." all three nuke lar power plants in the affected area did not suffer any damage. 45 aftershocks have hit in nagano in the last 24 hours. three months after the napa earthquake, the aftereffects are still being felt. in this case a storage unit containing items for troops overseas remains off-limits for those wanting to give back. abc7 news reporter lisa amin gulezian has the details. >> the metal on two sides of buildinged hundred at napa self-storage is warped, bent and unstable. the entire building housing 200 units was red tagged after the napa earthquake in august. >> are we going to get back in ever or -- >> i haven't heard that. >> it's the not knowing that's frustrating the storage tenants. they have no idea what condition their things are in or if they will ever see them again. >> it's in limbo.

>> we've just learned the city of napa has agreed to get involved. it will reach out to the owners of the self-storage company to find out what exactly is going on and tenants will be briefed at a meeting december 2nd. in napa, lisa amin gulezian, abc7 news. bart's new people mover between oakland international airport and the coliseum station is getting good reviews from passengers so far. the new driverless trains went into service yesterday. they take just 8 minutes to carry riders more than three miles on an elevated track. the three-car trains are pulled by cables. they travel at 30 miles an hour. a one-way ride costs six dollars. double the price of the air bart buses, but riders are not complaining. >> it would have been nice if they would have maybe done it at four or five, but it's convenient so we are paying for that. >> what you are getting is a much quicker and more convenient and faster service to the airport. the sfo extension also has a surcharge. that's normal for getting to and from airports.

>> the trains run every five to fifteen minutes, depending on the time of day. the project was 30 years in the making. it cost almost half a billion dollars. it's ready just in time for the holidays. >> yeah, the busy week and the weather will be cooperating. although we will be making up to some very chilly temperatures. not much in the way of fog because our offshore flow should be protecting us from that. although a little bit of actually fog may want to sneak into the delta from time to time or our east bay valleys. we have a setup that will allow for warmer than average temperatures in the days ahead. live doppler 7hd showing a little cloud cover offshore. this will come into play from time to time. here's a look at a very sunny emeryville, where temperatures range from 56 oakland, san francisco, 59 half moon bay. san jose 54 and redwood city at 48. from our sutro tower camera,

plenty of sunshine coast to inland right now with 50 in concord. there was fog around concord and livermore earlier. it has since cleared and we are looking at a pretty nice start to your sunday. mountain, a few high clouds and these will be more noticeable had the north bay as the ridge of high pressure builds in and we get some of the spillover. a mixture of high clouds and sun today. the warmest days are tuesday and wednesday. thanksgiving, the ridge still looks to be holding. temperatures sliding a little bit. and then looks like rain will be returning, perhaps late friday night into next weekend. here's a look at our radar satellite composite. one area of high pressure. another area building throughout the week. and as it does, we will see the strengthening ridge and warmer temperatures. in fact, numbers will climb a couple degrees each and every day. we could see highs pushing the upper 70s, around san benito county, but locally mid-70s near. pretty nice-looking weather.

a couple of weak systems pushed through. sense wednesday you see the rainfall totals. they vary from redwood city .19 and over 2.5 in loamen. and kentfield over 3 inches and in between concord picked up a healthy 1.10. oakland you can see at 1.78. livermore not too bad. almost a half-inch. we are still lagging well behind and hopefully anding to the totals by next weekend. today in the south bay look for 65 in milpitas and santa cruz. peninsula, 60s on the coast. if you are heading into the san francisco this afternoon, a little jacket perhaps early and mid-60s today up in the north bay. a few higher clouds. 68. more upper 60 for hayward, castro valley. nice day in fremont. out by the delta is could reach 70 today with mid-60s san ramon

>> a report of a gang rain inside of a fraternity house has prompted the close of all at the university of the virginia. rolling stone magazine published an article saying a gang rape happened in the fraternity house. police are investigating the claim. some of the demonstrators said the university is taking the right steps to end a practice that has gone on for too long. >> 200 miles to be here and support all the girls who still live here or used to live here and the same thing happened to them. they just don't feel like they are aloud or welcome to say their peace. >> police arrested four people

for trespassing on the fraternity's property during the protest. p.m. has reportsedly signed a secret order authorizing a more expansive mission for the u.s. military in afghanistan next year. the new york times reporting the move would ensure american troops will have a direct role in carrying out missions against militant groups. the new authorization also allows american jets, bombers and drones to support afghan troops on combat missions. president obama earlier said u.s. troops would have no combat role in afghanistan next year. gluten-free diets seem to be more popular than ever. a third of americans in a new "consumer reports" survey say they try to buy gluten-free foods or avoid gluten. but "consumer reports" says going gluten-free can pose some risk. here's abc7 news reporter ama daetz. >> store shelves are full of

foods labeled gluten-free, from oatmeal to pasta to chips. in it deli some of this is even gluten-free. and about 7% of americans can't eat gluten because they have celiac disease or diagnosed gluten sensitivity. but how good is a gluten-free diet for everyone else? to find out, "consumer reports" reviewed nutrition labels from more than 80 gluten-free foods. >> people think that going gluten-free will help them lose weight or better digestion or a host of health benefits but when we looked at it, we found they aren't necessarily healthier and they may be less so. >> one concern, some gluten-free foods contain more fat, sugar or sodium than their counterparts. for example, the gluten-free bagel on the left has 7 grams of fat and the bagel on the right has two grams. products made of enriched wheat flour provide essential nutrients like iron and folic acid, which you don't get those in gluten-free foods.

children are positive, that staff will begin to be monitored for the virus >> developing news this morning, san francisco police have released a sketch of a man who sexually assaulted a girl in a playground bathroom. take a look. investigators released this sketch late last night based on a description given by the rick is tim. authorities say the man assaulted the 7-year-old friday at lafayette park in pacific heights. abc7 news reporter nick smith has the details. >> it seems like the safest park i could ever imagine, and it's actually not. i think parents take false comfort in that, and i think that's the risk. >> it may have been the perfect opportunity for someone up to no good. we were there as officers with the san francisco police department went to the place they say a 7-year-old girl was attacked. the call blasting across police radios. >> a 7-year-old female was assaulted in the female restroom of lafayette park in the

he had converted to islam. kassig was beheaded last week after being held hostage for a week. the 26-year-old was doing relief work in syria, helping refugees when he was captured. u. c. students are planning a system-wide walkout tomorrow to protest a tuition hike approved by the regents. they took their message to the big game yesterday. dressed in green and handing out green ribbons. they were asking other students to wear the ribbons to show support for the students in opposition to the hikes. last week the regents vote today raise tuition by up to 5% a year for the next five years. some students are still occupying wheeler haul on campus. now they are trying to figure out their next move. >> we've been holding the space and we expect to hold it as long as necessary until we have the appropriate dialogue that ends the way that we want it to, which is that the burden of this financial situation is not put on the students.

>> the students have been camped out at wheeler hall since last wednesday. >> the disaster recovery center set up in vallejo to help victims of the south napa earthquake is closing its doors. the center on capital street served more than 283 homeowners, renters and business owners since that 6.0 quake on august 24th. it will cease operations tuesday at 6:00 p.m. help will still be available in person at the napa earthquake local assistance center on third street in napa, as well as online and over the phone. starting tomorrow apple joins project red for a two-week fundraising campaign to fight a.i.d.s.. project red is a charity fund started by u2 lead singer bono back in 2006. apple will join app makers from angry birds to others and additional funds will be raised through the sale of apple products. apple has helped raise $75 million for the red fund

police hope surveillance video will help them nab the man breaking into this home. this shows a man bust south windows and running away from the home with something tucked under his left arm. this happened on thursday morning on skyline drive in vallejo. moments before you see him looking in the window and looking to see if anyone was around. the homeowner said a computer was taken and he calls this incident frustrating and kerry. owning a car can be expensive, especially when you have to buy new tires. new models from overseas promise to save you money, but are they safe? "consumer reports" has partnered exclusively with "7 on your side" to find out. here's michael finney. >> good morning, everyone. tires from china can cost far less than better-known brands. consumer reports included three of these tires in recent tests

and found they're no bargain. they didn't earn high scores for performance and one could be a counterfeit. tires are expensive. most s.u.v. truck tires "consumer reports" recommends cost more than $150 each. so this $95 tire from china, the pegasus advanta suv, seemed like a bargain. but when "consumer reports" put a set of those tires through its standard tests, they came in at the bottom of the ratings. >> these tires did not grip well in snow. they were short in terms of tread life, when compared to the other models. and they made for a rough and noisy ride. >> even worse, the tires could be fakes. api, the u.s.-based company that owns the pegasus brand, says it stopped using the chinese factory that made the tires three years ago. a letter from api's chief operating officer says, "many of our molds went missing. we have no idea who may have made these tires, nor what they put in them." "consumer reports" bought the tires from the website tires-easy.com. its president says the tires came from an importer.

pretty good. although we've been spoiled some seasons when we've had a lot of snow in the mountains at thanksgiving. not this time. although we have rain and possibly pound taken snow in the seven-day outlook. ears live doppler 7hd where you are looking at higher clouds entering the north bay. elsewhere it's nice and sunny. picture in santa cruz right now is pretty quiet. not a lot of folks at the beach but i imagine perhaps later on. 6 is right now, half moon bay leading the pack with 48 redwood city. and from emeryville lots of sun. we will see some high clouds drifting through the sky today. mid-50s by the delta. 50 concord. santa rosa at 50 degrees. definitely a cooler start this morning, and that will be the trend pour the next couple of mornings. we have the clear skies and the light offshore winds will keep temperatures pretty chilly. radiational cooling. we could get patchy, valley fog's well. today sun and high clouds. warmest days of the week is tuesday and wednesday.

looks likes rain will be arriving next weekend. could be ting into the following work week. as we start december. wouldn't that be nice? live radar and satellite picture shows the high clouds pilling over the top of the ridge here. circulation around the high is clockwise. so we are looking at some of that spillover today. but overall we will have sunny skies and the gusty santa anna winds in southern california with 77 in los angeles today. 58 in the southern sierra. 20s still in the northern sierra with a high of 46 at south lake and monterey 63 degrees. so temperatures around the bay today, fairly normal. we will see the low 60s from half moon bay with the light wind here. it should be pretty pleasant up through sin son beach, santa cruz. 68 san jose. more upper 60s out toward conquer and 67 vallejo. are you heading down to the niners game? if you are, you will enjoy more

sunshine with temperatures in the low 60s by about 1:00. accuweather seven-day forecast shows with high pressure building, the temperatures will continue to climb to above average readings. in fact five to maybe ten degrees above average by the middle of the week. gives us 07ths at our beaches. mid-70s inland and a nice thanksgiving, although temperatures will slide a little bit, maybe some rain by next friday night. the extended outlook you always like to ask me if we can believe it or not, it looks pretty wet. so that will be quite interesting through next weekend and early into the first part of december. wouldn't that be just wonderful? >> yes. this forecast, though, has a little something for everybody. >> yeah, i think so. >> thank you, lisa. let's check out sports. the 49ers return home this afternoon. looking for their third straight win. they face washington at levi's stadium. kickoff 1:25. big game turned into another route for stanford. here's abc7 sports director liri

beil with this morning's sports. good morning, everybody. the axe belongs to stanford once again. the combination of five turnovers by cal and the resurrection of the cardinal running game. 4 tds by ramon rice adding up to a route in berkeley. stanford early on would lose their most dangerous offensive weapon. this is in the first quarter. and ty montgomery goes down hard with a sprained shoulder. second quarter stanford up 10-0. stephen anderson touchdown. cal down 10-7. >> without montgomery stanford goes to the ground game. ramon rice stopped at the 1. keeps fighting and gets in for the touchdown. first they sit down at the 1, plane. cardinals up 17-7. it turnovers killed the bears. three in the first half. goth, pass deflected to martinez. a great game, two picks, lead to go a seven hogan touchdown round. stanford 24-7 at the half and after going with running back by

committee all year, wright was the committee one in this game. that's his third touchdown. here comes number four. stanford rolls 48-17. the axe goes back to the farm for the fifth year in a row. >> we are excited. forget what happened before and don't worry about tomorrow. today our kids get to celebrate holding the axe. fourth and fifth year seniors have never lost it and i'm proud of those guys. >> i was disappointed in the way we played. i anticipated us playing better football. so disappointed with that. it was a bit of a strange football game. it didn't start the way we want it to start. i don't even know what to say about some of the stuff that happened out there. >> after a long road trip the sharks back home for six in a row. lost in a shootout friday night to florida. back on the ice last night against the arizona a coyotes. patrick marleau and company trying to stop a two-game losing streaks. the coyotes jump out to the 2-0 lead in the first period. on the doorstep, vermette starts the scoring. sharks would tie it up in the second. andrew desjardins on the rebound. that's his first of the year. it's a 2-2 game.
