there is a lot of activity here in front of the hall of justice. what you're seeing is police clearing the street to make way for a peaceful demonstration. in the chief hopes that again, his officers will show the same restraint tonight. >> officers exercised restraint last night in clouds that were confrontational. and in provoking a response from a police department. >> when protestors began marching, a few began smashing windows. others stopped, some from vandalizing. numbers grew as they got closer, they blocked intersections and rushed onto the highway.

police in riot gear forced them off. pro testers threw bottles and projectiles at officers police fired grenades and rubber bullets the crowd moved back, retreating to downtown oakland they set bonfires. the window smashing and looting began just blocks from city hall and the police department. >> it is unacceptable. >> the mayor said the city had been working hard with the community community. >> sometimes, anger, depression and fear some young black people have with the relationship with their police dep. it's something we've worked on.

a plan to charge a toll to cross the golden gate bridge is facing asem bli members. they will present a bill from enacting a sidewalk toll the district is looking at adopting the fee. the bridge district is considering 45 different options to raise money. >> can the district erect barriers for people crossing in a way that makes it possible to make money off of this? i don't think that is practical. >> the bridge used to charge a

a volunteer flew her to lake tahoe wildlife care. the tahoe teen knew what to do. they changed bandages every 2, 3 days. a long ordeal involving jabbing her with a sedative. the care did do the trick. lake tahoe wildlife care gave us this video. her paws healed and the vet determined cinder is ready to move to a facility in idaho. that she also have grape. who is thrilled by the recovery.
