incident. he walked up and shot him three times at close range. another hiker came across the body on the trail. >> there are certain teachers that they kind of develop a cult following. he was definitely one of those guys. >> he says he was an inspiring teacher at the school in danville where he taught english and journalism for more than a decade. he was the editor of the school newspaper and graduated in 2007. >> i remember he said something like i am honored to not only give you the diploma, but call you my friend. >> he left the school two years ago to pursue other endeavors. police are looking for two suspects. one is an african-american male with dreadlock. he is between 20 and 30 years old, has a thin build and has dark clothing. the other is an african-american male about six feet tall and 240 pounds.

he is described as being out of shape and overly friendly. alan wang, abc7 news. >> happening now, dozens of cars took part in a sideshow near the port of oakland. you are looking at sky 7hd and you can see some of the police cars out there with the flashing lights. police are trying to round up all of the cars after a pedestrian may have been hit. some drivers are trying to get away so officers are setting up road blocks trying to keep them from getting away from the sideshow where a pedestrian may have been hit. stay with us for the latest. if we get any new developments and on twitter at abc7 news bay area. in oakland, vandals struck tonight during a protest through downtown and west oakland over the grand jury decision in the michael brown case. the group marched peacefully for a few hours and then a few vandals smashed windows and spray painted businesses. many along broadway. you kwan see they even -- you can even see they pushed a

the chp says that no one was hit during the sideshow. you are looking at some video shot a short time ago of them during the sideshow. police are trying to keep everyone from leaving. >> dangerous. look how close the people are stand wght cars zipping around. >> get the latest on abc7 news bay area. the president came out against something called throttling. it is slowing down someone's wireless or broad band when it thinks that person is hogging the data. schwa how often this happens is a question for debate. 7 on your side's michael finney looks at both sides. >> t-mobile agrees to disclose accurate information about the speed of its broadband and to tell its customers when they are being throttled. a month ago they throt 10ed 3% of the unlimited data customers. this after being sued for nondischoose sure by the federal trade commission. >> i think we might be a victim of throttling, if you will.

side contacted the company. in an e-mail it says comcast does not block or throttle customers and we believe in having strong and enforceable open internet rules. however, comcast says it engages in congestion management. they will identify which customer accounts are using the greatest amounts of band width and their internet traffic will be managed until the congestion period passes. what is the difference? we ask comcast. it will prevent them from visiting certain websites or certain applications and protocols. congestion management is temporarily managed for 15 minutes until the congestion passes. >> consumers union suspects comcast and other cable providers engage in throttling although the companies may call it something else. >> throttling can be a problem

for cable systems as well. >> and here is a question rarely asked. is it good for both of us. christopher yu rarely speaks with the commission. >> when one person is taking too much it slows them down to make sure everyone else gets a fair share of the band width that is available. >> some compare throttling to metering lights on the freeway. the conservative think tank, american enterprise institute say the only way to avoid throttling is to increase the size of the spectrum available for people to get data. >> whether you call it throttling or you call it something that is a little less inflammatory there is a scarce resource that has to be allocated. >> the issue could be decided by the end of the year when the federal communications commission decides how it wants to protect a free and open internet. it is what many have called net neutrality. comcast maintains the issue is resolved and the couple says it has improved, but remains

another round. temperatures in the mid40s in our coolest locations to about the upper 50s. here is the view and we have high clouds around. sunny and mild for thanksgiving day. rain arrives on friday night. a wet pattern is setting up and that will last into next week. you will need to hang on to the umbrellas for quite a few days. you will see in a moment, high pressure holds on for one more day and that means your thanksgiving is dry. then the storms are lining up. periods of rain are right on through the middle of next week. i am going to start with this first system that is going to come in on friday night. friday morning 5:00 a.m. for all of you black friday shoppers. just some clouds around. don't want to lug those bags through the rain. you will see the rain inching toward the north bay and it stays until saturday morning when most of the bay area is getting wet. there may be light inray falling on the bay area -- light rain falling in the bay area.

then we have two more systems coming in on sunday and early next week. when all is said and done we take you through wednesday, december 3rd. that's the middle of next week. three to five inches expected for the wettest spots in the north bay. elsewhere, wettest locations in the bay area are one to three inches of rain which is great news. we are expecting a mix of rain and snow in the sierra nevada and some of the snow will be dropping down to pass levels. make sure you have your chains in the holiday weekend and traveling back. tomorrow morning the temperatures start out in the 40s to 50s. a little on the cool side for your thanksgiving morning and then for the afternoon, a pleasant, mild, sunny day. 67 santa rosa and 66 san francisco and 68 oakland and concord, 71 livermore and fremont, santa cruz, 72 in san jose. for the niners game against the seahawks tomorrow evening, it is going to be beautiful weather. mild conditions at levi stadium. mid60s and dropping to the upper 50s.
