the roads with cars which is why the bicyclists went on to the sidewalk in the first place. a last ditch effort to save a troubled east bay hospital. the contra costa board of supervisors will vote on two measures to help relieve the financial pressure on doctors medical center in san pablo. one would delay a $3 million property tax payment owed by the hospital to the county. the other permanently waives $9 million in future repayment. the meeting is scheduled for this morning at 9:30. cities across the bay area are approving wage hikes and a senator is proposing doing the same statewide. the senator introduced legislation to raise the minimum wage to $11 an hour in 2016, $13 an sure in 2017 and begin annual inflation-based adjustments in 2019 were the state minimum wage will increase to $10 an hour on january 1, 2016.
