hope that it may not be as bad as some of the people leaving earlier through the holidays so, so far it has been good. we had great traffic here and it is nice so far in the airport so we hope it will stay that way. >> most flight delays at sfo are for regional jets going on short trips and we checked with oakland and san jose but there are no delays to report. >> the same day a black teen was shot and killed by a white police officer not far from ferguson, missouri protesters in san francisco took to the streets with a message that black lives matter. this is from a group that we have not heard from before on the police violence debate. our reporter is in san francisco to explain. amy hollyfield? >> yes, we we are at 17th and castro where the protests came to an end i asked if they planned this before the most recent shooting and they had. it wasn't in response to that. it was more of the nation-wide message that has been going on for a few weeks now.

they say they did cause inconvenience on market street but they say that is an important part of the strategy to draw attention to the issue. >> it is the same message protesters have emphasized if evening woos now but a different group this time. the lgbt community in san francisco gathered on market street to take a stance together. >> it is a call for other oppressed communities coming together and uniting on such an issue. >> to build a trans gender clear lgbt people, i have experienced a lot of fear and anxiety because if black men lives don't matter, we question, do our lives senator. >> they blocked streets in san francisco before 9:00 this morning. they kept people from getting on or off highway 101. they read allow off the names of minorities shot and killed by police officers and held a few moments of silence which were interrupted by the sounds of

another deadly shooting involving a black man and a white police officers. >> it happened last night in the city of berkeley, missouri, a few miles from ferguson. local officials there are now doing damage control. >> chaos erupts in suburban st. louis. hundreds of protesters gathered in berkeley, missouri, at the same spot where a white police officer fatally shot a black teen. local police say the officer was responding to a theft report at a gas station when a teen pointed a gun at him. st. louis county officials released this video captured during the ordeal. if you look close enough it appears it show a man raising a weapon toward the officer. police say the officer fired in response. the town's mayor backed up the account. >> the video shows the deceased pointing a gun that had been recovered. >> officer, a six-year veteran, is enjoy on leave. late this morning, the missouri

here, and starting at 10:00 it was well into the north and now it is moving to santa rosa and by noon you will see most of the rain passing through by 1:00 o'clock people it will hit the north bay around san rafael and through san francisco by 2:00 p.m. as you continue through the afternoon hours at 3:00 or 4:00 in the peninsula, the east bay and the south bay. it will be followed by breezy conditions at 40-miles-per-hour gusts along the coast and 2,000 feet in the hills. here is a look at lake tahoe camera tracking snow already and we are under a winter advisory so snow is falling and that does mean that we will have travel restrictions, as well, with delays and chain requirements at 3-6" above 4,000' and a foot along the sierra crest and the advisory begins at unanimous through 8:00 people so poor visibility and blustery conditions. shear a look at home, mount tamalpais shows the clouds and the fog dissipated by the
