an american doctor who survived ebola is returning to west africa, the heart of the worst ebola outbreak in history. dr. rick sacra announced he is

returning to liberia. he won't be working in an ebola ward but will be caring for patients. he plan to spend nearly a month outside the camden of monrovia. >> my doctor has now cleared me for a full return to work and has said i'm well enough to return to liberia. the experts tell me i'm immune. i don't plan to test that. >> dr. sacra contracted ebola while treating patients for ebola last september. u.s. stocks declient again today sentencing the two-week slide with the unabated drop in oil prices is driving investors' concerns. the price of oil dropped another 5% today to $46 a barrel. the slump means lower profits for energy companies and investors are worried the drop in oil will hurt fourth quarter earnings. the dow jones was down 96 points.

have pockets of fog already. into the morning the clouds will linger into the peninsula, into the south bay. be on lookout for reduced visibility. a lot of us are featuring pockets of fog, moinls days. weekend rain chances appear. the high pressure is rebuilding. deflecting to our north. here's our looking ahead starting, going through. the weekend into next weekend and into next monday. it just looks like rain chances have faded out. there may be areas of rain hitting the northwestern corners of the state but the bay area will remain dry. overnight, mainly clear skies. a few high clouds will develop over the bay and along the peninsula to the south bay. it could be dense fog at times.

she died of brain damage due to a lack of oxygen. she had stopped breathing during the endoscopy at the clinic a few days earlier. two police officers in albuquerque, new mexico will face murder charges in the shooting death of a homeless man. the district attorney announced the charges today. the albuquerque police department has one of the highest rates of police shootings in the entire country. this is the first time an officer has been charged. an attorney for one of the officers said he followed his training and likely saved his fellow officer's life. president obama is speaking out on cyber security and what he wants company who are hacked to do. president obama called on congress to pass the personal data notification and protection act. would it require u.s. companies to alert customers within 30 days if there is a breach that compromises the personal

information. >> we're proposing to close loopholes in the law. >> the bill would also give consumers more control of what personal information companies can collection and how they use that data. the president is proposing another bill bans companies from selling information collected from students. it is another record year for enrollment applications at uc berkeley. according to the president, more than 79,000 high school students applied for fall admission at berkeley. that's a 7% increase from last year. in fact all nine undergraduate campuses of thep4÷ university of california saw record high application numbers. overall the total number of applicants rose for the 11th year in a row. >> what have you done for me lately? denver were broncos coach fox led they will to the super bowl last year and won four straight division titles. today he was fired and his whole staff may eventually be let go.

are hitting the pickett line. >> about 100 members of the national union of health care workers lined the streets of kaiser permanente's san jose medical central. they've been trying to negotiate a contract for the past five years. they work mental health patients and have been complaining that staffing is not keeping one the growth in patients. kaiser perme's vice president of issues doesn't agree. >> we've hired hundreds of therapyists, we've increased the number in california by 25%. and in contrast, our membership has grown 8% during that same time. >> the unionj8sñ which represents 3,300 employees mostly in mental health disputes those numbers. >> even though they've increased staffing by 12%, during that same time the am of members has increased by more than that much. >> the mental health clinicians handle a wide range services including adult and child
