the fog is only going to expand over night. visibility wilt be restitutioned in many locations. temperature-wise right now, it's pretty mild in some spots. san francisco, 63 degrees. you can see where the fog is settling in. antioch, 54. just to the south, livermore, which is seeing clearer skies is 67. 58 in oakland, and san jose, 58. slat and rye dar, we have a colt front positioned to the north and the rope why we're seeing the high clouds is because of the front, but little in the way of moisture. we have not one but two areas of high pressure that are eating away at any rain that could possibly have fallen in the bay area and these high pressures are going to control much of our weather pattern into the new work and school week. so taking you through the forecast, into the future. you can see tomorrow morning 2:00 on our monday fog everywhere around the bay and in inland areas and then an

easterly wind will kicky. we see the carquinez strait, funneling that fog in. and then by the afternoon it looks like a lot of this will burn off and will turn to sunnier skies monday afternoon. so as we you plan out your holiday0s monday for this mlk day of service in the morning, dense fog, temperatures in the low 50s. by noon, mixture of sunshine and cloud. by 4:00 in the afternoon, it should be a mainly sunny sky, getting back into the 60s in a lot of spots, and by 7:00, high clouds and temperatures falling back into the upper 50s. as you look ahead into the week january warmth certainly going to take hold. high pressure just going to build in the four corners and what we get in the bay area is a return meaning a warm south wind will kick in and we could be looking at a record warmth setting up for next weekend. look at the potential temperature wes have especially san jose. the average high this time of year, right around 60.
