>> one of the dogs has been run over. >> he struck both dogs the one was kill instantly and the second was reknocked to the ground and regained its balance and retreated. >> police received calls of the dogs running through the streets near san mateo high school. they attack add gardner who used a leaf blower to bend them off. he bit the leaf blower. officers could not get out of the cars because the dogs attacked them. their cruiser was full of scratches. the dogs were scratching. after the animals ran toward the police the police took action and hit the dogs with their car. one dog died. one was taken into custody. the police officers were led back to the home. he was injured but okay but taken in by animal control. they will decide later what to do with the dog. the d.a. will decide what will happen to the owners.

thank you. 4:31. developing news from oakland police are investigating a trio of shootings that took place in a five-minute span and left five people wounded. police say two people were shot before 9:00 last night on 88th avenue and then two more were shot on 60thth avenue and a third shooting at 105th left another hurt. all five are expected to be okay. officers have not said whether the shootings are connected. a san francisco man who says police tried to toss him out of the wheelchair will file a formal complaint all caught on video. cornell? i am not a threat. >> bill wanted to help some friends on sunday being questioned by san francisco police after an argument. >> don't go over there. >> the video clip shows him moving the wheelchair toward the group in hopes of intervening but officers tell him to lobby

while riding bart your days are number. the agency will consider banning the use of electronic cigarettes on trains. the use on bart is not regulated but smoking have been. officials have received complaint of people using the devices on bart rot. if approved new signs will be posted letter passengers know of the ban. protesters are attending the bart board meeting in oakland to have charges dropped against the black friday 14 who chained themselves to the bart trains in november. it is the same group that shut down several bart stations on friday morning. they also want to disband bart police and give low income riders ticket discounts. curing to a facebook post 350 people plan to protest this afternoon at the bart board meeting. >> occupies on 200 dead birds killed by a mystery goo will begin found on the east bay and peninsula.

firefighters say growing winds and inability to shut off the gas fueled the fire. a state of emergency is declared. more than 400 people are evacuated. investigators say they are waiting for the fire to cool down before traying to figure out how it started. >> there are now four proposal on the board to buy doctor's medical center in san pablo and the most serious officer coming from the city. they have offered $11 million to buy the hospital and a lot where a smaller facility could be built. doctors is the only public hospital. the board members say they need to make a decision on which proposal to except by mid-february or begin shutting the hospital down because of lack of money. >> the brutal commute off the richmond-san rafael bridge could be easier with a fast track project creating a third lane on the bridge and help ease driver frustration. here is that report. ask anyone of the eastbound
