cancellations from sfo are from united and most if not all involve the east coast because of the blizzard warning that is in affect for 250 mile-long stretch of the northeast including hubs: new york boston and philadelphia. they are saying this could be a potentially historic storm. it is going to involve the east coast for a couple of days. at sfo the duty manager is saying he thinks things will not be back to normal until wednesday or thursday. the reaction to the fact that they canceling flights and they are seeing this more the airlines are be aggressive and it helps passengers and airlines and airports and benefits everyone and help hads them get back on track sooner than they used to. he says he is expecting this to cause problems until the middle of the week, if not beyond that.
