vigil for her. >> ever since monday, there has been an outcry to slow down traffic on yerba buena road about a half mile west there is a radar speed feed back sign that tells drivers how fast they're going. police are going to put up a temporary one where the victim died as two speeding cars crashed going an estimated 70 plus miles per hour. one officials says it might encourage drivers to see if they can set a new record. however, the vice mayor maintains that they work. >> we know from experience using radar feed back signs that they have slowed down traffic. which is why i was ready to propose it right away and because we can get them out there, immediately. >> we drove down the road. cars ahead of us were going faster. this stretch has seen three other fatal accidents n december

a 22-year-old man died while speeding striking a power pole. in june a 20-year-old and his passenger died the two men linked to the death monday face charges of felony vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. an 18-year-old is out on bail and a 23-year-old out in court where the victim's family interrupted proceedings with cries for justice. >> we understand their anger and what happened is a horrible tragedy. they lost a valuable loved one. >> my niece was 24. i want a full justice done. i want to make sure these guys don't get a tap on their hands and let them go. >> the candle light vigil is growing. from here, the people are running to do a procession down

only ones taking this action. teachers with the new haven school district started to follow their lead. >> very close call today for a woman who drove off a road and into a slew in vallejo on fair grounds drive. firefighters had to use a ladder, then used a tarp to slide the driver across it. an ambulance was waiting nearby. firefighters say the woman was treated for minor injuries. >> san francisco firefighters say a woman rescued near pier 39 was taking pictures when she fell into the bay. >> hang on hang on. >> the woman who hasn't been identified was standing on a wooden sea wall hitting her chin on the way down. this is the only video of her rescue that you're watching. the woman spent 13 minutes in a chilly water.

there has been another good-sized earthquake in one of the active regions in the state. a magnitude 5.7 quake struck off the coast of ferndale. there are no reports of major damage but things did fall off the shelves like this fish bowl at one bed and breakfast. residents are pretty used to the shaking, actually. >> seconds later a slam came in and shook everything. the barn is just shaking like crazy. didn't last long as long as it did, it was violent. >> this is the largest quake to hit since a 6.8 on march 10th of
