her stuff out of there in time. karen arrived early, hoping to get inside of her damaged art studio. she was making a list of her most-valuable items after crews went inside arcs juster gave her discouraging news. he said a studio was in bad shape and stuff all over the place. she was allowed inside only for 20 minutes. these are the pictures of the damage. she had years of work inside. there was debris everywhere most of her cabinets, destroyed. >> looks like flood, hurricane, you know? and fire. but it wasn't burned. just water damage. >> with the help of the crew, they were able to retrieve slides and art work. >> i feel like i got the help that they could give me right

now. but everyone has done a masterful job. >> from sky 7 you can see the damage to the building on 22 in mission street. some of the apartments are exposed. anything can cause a roof to cave in. the building is so unstable, crews went up to put emergency walls in case investigators need to return. that department hopes they won't have to. >> they're able to get everything needed from the scene the day after, so they're done with physical investigation. >> the fire investigators are now interviewing witnesses. the four-alarm fire happened a week ago and displaced many residents. several businesses were also lost. no one else will be allowed inside. now, the building department will have to issue permits to begin the process of stabilizing the building so residents can retrieve what is left. that could take weeks if not

men who pulled off a takeover style robbery in a jewelry store inside of westfield shopping center. the store was closed after it happened. police say three men walked in ordered everyone on to the ground and forced employees to open cases. they took merchandise and got away. >> police say an officer who shot and killed a 38-year-old african american woman yesterday was wearing a body camera but won't help with the investigation. home depot security called saying she tried to steal knifes and pointed a gun at an employee. they fired several shots. one officer had a body camera that wasn't turned on. they're being field tested. >> san francisco police are investigating whether the torso found in a suitcase is that of a

so this is a period of wet weather. high pressure keeping storms from advancing but it's edging eastward that will allow storms to make their way into our area. we'll have a series of wet systems bringing mild air with them. starting at 5:00 in the morning we'll see spotty rainfall in the northern most part of sonoma county. later in the day just about all we'll see is patches of spotty rain. by tomorrow night rain becoming wide spread and heavy. some work south ward and eastward but won't be until friday morning through afternoon into into evening we'll see more wide spread rain that will be heavy at times continuing to friday night and, into saturday morning and getting a break in the north bay.
