live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> the president will speak at high-tech summit at stanford on cybersecurity. marine i was with the president signing an order to share private, between the private sector and the government. president obama will be meeting with a number of top leaders and business leaders for the seven hour summit. the helicopter left the fooled a few moments ago. marine one and a decoy are flying over the studios long the embarcardero in san francisco.

here. to see the group, all the people he travels with it is pretty cool. >> i have seen motorcades before but it is amazing to see all the air support. the ospreys. it is cool. look at these helicopters like something from star truck that are used to carry the president's staff taking on like a helicopter but fly like an airplane. this area around crissy field is open again and they will close it again this afternoon when he lands here so if you were going to get in the walk or jog you may want to do it now. they have not said when he will be here they shut it down for a couple of hours. and the president the spend the night here leaving in the

morning and mixing the gorgeous san francisco weekend. the president is about to take the stage at stanford to reveal new efforts improving cybersecurity after sony and target and anthem have fallen victim to hackers. matt has coverage from stanford. >> the motorcade is right here now as you can see pulling up to stanford university and pulling in to where this conference is taking place. it is not just presbyterian -- president obama but other big name leaders from the federal government and ceo's. a lot of people are here to see the president arrive. inside they will discuss how they can work together to stop the data branches and attacks. this is obviously a big motorcade as the president has arrived here at stanford university. right now, apple c.e.o. tim cook is speaking.

earlier two panels from security and energy and commerce department and ceo's from several companies including american express intel discussed cybersecurity and the different threats and challenges they face in keeping their information and customer information safe. the homeland security advisor to president obama spoke this morning. she said that no one is immune to cyber threats as they increase in frequency, scale sophistication and impact. >> each hour we know that state and non-state actor, hackers criminals are probing our networks seeking to steal and to spy and manipulate and destroy. [ inaudible ] president obama will talk about a private company and federal government sharing of

information in the private sector between the private sector and the government. the frame works include encouraging private sector cybersecurity collaboration and enabling better private and public information sharing and provide strong privacy and civil rights protections and paves the way for future legislation. many spoke out saying country laws and regulations are outdated and limit their ability to find and alert people about data preaches and fraud. we do have team coverage. my colleague is here at the superintendent -- summit and will have more information in a few minutes. that will be later additions of abc7. >> top executives will be absent including facebook c.e.o. mark zuckerberg yahoo marissa mayer and it is believes the executives turned down invitations because of continuing tensions between the

obama administration and s develop over privacy matters. >> we have complete coverage of the visit all day today on air and online with reporting continuing on twitter@abc7newsbayarea. police are investigating what happened to have a man end up dead on the campus of a chiropractic college just after 2:00 a.m. when employees found a u-haul truck and broken glass on the ground. they spotted the man's body near the truck. the victim is not identified or his connection to the college. classes are canceled. >> a person has been detained for driving with a suspicious device in the car that was found when the driver was stopped in novato around 8:00. right now the deputies have not said what the device is but they said berkeley police bomb squad has secured it and several homes were evacuated.

>> a group of students in san francisco staged a protest of an issue of a morals clause for teachers to honor church teaching including opposing homosexuality. students are holding this to bring attention because the archbishop's morality clause is too strict and unfair to their teachers. >> you group of 20 high school students gathered outside their catholic school? san francisco and are protesting language in the ambassador bishop's contract, including rules about living both public and professional lives consistent the church. this includes church teachings on same-sex marriage and birth control which the archbishop calls evil. >> i want teachers to be called teachers and not ministers and they should be able to express themselves however and wherever they want. >> the archbishop is making such a huge deal on homosexual sexual and masturbation.

there are bigger problems in the world. people are starving. >> students believe in teaching acceptance. signatures are being gathered for those who think the same. >> it is a petition for teaching acceptance. we are trying to get as many signatures as we can. >> a student would wants to remain aindependence miscellaneous is worried teachers could be fired if personal lives cash with the demands of the archbishop and others feel the views are not consistent with a progressive city like san francisco and what kids have been taught. >> i was given the idea that god gives us free will to make our own decisions and the archbishop with this clause is not giving the teachers the ability to do that >> the archbishop is out of town but is still in talk with the teachers union and a spokesman at the archdiocese explains that teachers have been signing identical contracts for years but the language in this one is just more specific.

the high school has its hands you will dealing with another issue first reported on by our team teachers at the school say over the past year and a half the principal showed pictures of naked women and even a racy video involving a student at the high school. the archdiocese investigate asked cleared the principal of wrongdoing but some parents have launched a petition drive calling for the removal of the principal. >> san francisco firefighters are looking into what sparked a taxicab fire this morning. a view are shared this video on instagram after hearing an explosion about 1:00 o'clock this morning and ran to the window to take a look and found a fireball near oak and webster street. firefighters say it was in a taxi. a second vehicle was also involved. investigators are keeping quiet on the details. there are no injuries reported. >> be careful if you head to the beach there is a warning for the next few days because of high
