monday along with his mother 22-year-old, from woodland outside sacramento. the mother was found yesterday. someone heard her screaming for help near a levy in knights landing and covered with scratches the her infant son was not with her. searchers in a boat found the body of an infant before 10:00 in the area where they were looking. the baby was found in the brush in the water. around 100 search teams including some from the bay area came to the area to assist and sonoma and marin county sheriffs all sent crews. investigators have been scouring through the night focus on an area. they used search dogs and boats and family members were convassing the area passing out pictures with information. deputies say it is too early to

determine if this is foul play. we are waiting for the baby to be identified. the baby's father has been cooperating with the police and the mother is recovering from her injuries at a hospital. thanks, the mother is being treated at a hospital and found wet and cold and discovered with scratches as you heard in the report. the baby's father is cooperating laura anthony is headed for yolo county and will join us tonight at 5 o'clock and 6:00 with our coverage continue at twitter@abc7newsbayarea. >> four robbery suspects are under arrest after a dramatic chase this morning from sacramento all the way to martinez ending after a crash and a tense search off interstate 680. our reporter amy hollyfield is if martinez with the latest. >> they are at the c.h.p. office being interviewed right now. investigators say they have a lot of information to put

together and officers in different cities to talk to. one officer who was at the scene this morning told me they get the call the people were wanted for an armed robbery and he said bit looks of everything that was in the car it looked like they had robbed a department store. >> police say there were four people inside the vehicle that crashed into a fence after 3:00 this morning in martinez. police were right behind them. they had chased them from sacramento. although the car was totaled they were not ready to give up. >> all occupants exited and took to the foot. our officers and other agencies set up a containment of the area. >> officers caught three of them quickly and the four the hid for three hours. a home and a dog kennel business were in the perimeter. >> we knew something was going on because the dogs were back. >> police dogs searched the dog kennel for the fourth and the

owner helped them through the property. >> we took them through the kennels to make sure no one was here. >> they have not said where the four the was found but he was taken into custody. >> an investigator said the people in the car were wanted for armed robbery and the car they were driving was stolen tracked through the onstar system and they got ahead of it. the spike strip was deployed near bay shore southbound 680 and when the vehicle hit the spike strip it became disabled and exited the freeway. >> originally the officers thought there were knife people in the car so they searched the area away arthur road extensively but new they believe the four people they have in custody are all the people who were involved and the neighborhood is safe. they will be investigating this throughout the day and they hope to release more information to

us later today. police are hoping you can help catch a man who beat autopsy cab driver so he would not have to beat up the fare. matt keller has that story that started with a rise from san francisco to daly city and ending with a driver in the hospital. >> this was a brutal attack on a cab driver. now daly city police are hoping you can recognize the man in this video. that man called aable in san francisco at grant street as valentine's day celebrations were wiping down early morning of february 15th and he was dressed nicely in a 30 and tie and driven to daly city and dropped off at geneva across from the cow palace and after the cab driver confronted the man after he refused to pay. police say the passenger began betting the driver which resulted in major facial injuries to the victim. people were in the area but did not intervene. >> you can understand some people do not want to be
