shape. emergency crews were called to a home. according to the fire department the victim is in -- in this attack is a woman in her 40s. she suffered serious injuries to her face, arms and legs, and was rushed to the playing field here where an air ambulance was waiting. she was flown to john muir trauma center in walnut creek. neighbors tell thus were quite a few emergency vehicles, including fire, police, and animal control officers. >> and alert on when we left the animal control guy was here, and it seemed like there were a lot of people out front, kind of getting interviewed by animal control. >> now know the neighbors? >> we don't know them. >> reporter: according to the pinole fire department, the dog was taken into custody by the animal control officer and there were no other people who were injured. a authorities have not yet released the name of the dog owner, nor of that victim. reporting live in pinole, sergio quintana, abc7 news.

>> thank you. we have breaking news now in the east bay. this is a live look in livermore where at least one person is dead after police and firefighters responded to reports of a shooting in an upscale neighborhood. it happened just after 4:30 this afternoon. you can see they have the scene roped off there. this is near winding stream drive and altamont creek drive. we have a crew on the scene trying to get more information right now. so stay with us here on abc7 news or follow us on twitter. hayward police arrested a suspect accused of shooting at an officer and then holing up in a home. this afternoon the s.w.a.t. team moved in and as what appeared to be gas or smoke powder out -- poured out from the windows and then they took map away in handcuffs. this began at 2:00 a.m. when police say the suspect shot at an officer in a traffic stop. the officer was not hurt.

police say the suspect was driving a car that could be connected to a shooting last night. the parents of a woman charged with the murder of her 20-day-old baby are standing by heir. san ma that green is in the yolo county jail, accused of killing her son, justice rees last week. the baby's father says green had been running from something the night the baby died. this morning her parents released a statement saying their daughter has quote, never been in trouble with the law. we know in our heart that sammy would never do anything intentionally to harm her newborn son. an east bay family still coping with the loss of their teenaged daughter one year after she was hit and killed bay train. tonight they're channeling the grief into a way to help others. cornell bernard is live in martinez where many are remembering jenna betty. cornell? >> reporter: a really got to be inspired by the courage of the betty family. the memorial to their daughter,
