live from the kgo broadcast center. >> the double homicide has left a quiet livermore neighborhood in shock tonight. abc7 news has the exclusive video as the suspect was taken into custody. good evening. >> the shooting happened in broad daylight near winding stream drive and and altamont creek. >> katie the shooting happened down this street on altimont creek drive. police are processing the scene as the man they say pulled the trigger is now in their custody. livermore police are not releasing his name but they say this man shot and killed two acquaintances after an argument. it happened on altimont creek drive. they say they found him lying on the sidewalk and found the

suspect two and a half miles away on blue bell drive and sunflower court. >> what we have right now is this person -- it lead us to this individual. >> police were lead to the kingdom halve jehovah's witnesses. this is where they found a revolver on the ground near the entrance. investigators are not saying if the revolver is the actual murder weapon, but they say it is connected. >> at first when she said that somebody -- our neighbor said somebody got shot. >> the people in the neighborhood couldn't believe a shooting happened in their quiet subdivision. they were shocked two men were killed so close to their homes and their children. many of whom were playing in the park across the street. >> nothing like this has ever happened before. very quiet. a lot of kids playing. obviously there is a school across the street. >> now that a suspect is in custody the people in livermore can rest easy knowing there is no longer a homicide suspect on the loose. lilian kim abc7 news.

one person is dead and two people are in the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in richmond. it happened before tour:00 near 15th street and bissel avenue. it happened after an argument between several people. one suspect has been arrested. dozens of friends turned out for a candlelight vigil hahn -- honoring a a 14-year-old. abc7 news reporter sergio was there. >> the people spilling off the sidewalk and on to the street are mostly teenagers friends of ellis. some of the teens went to school with him and others went to school with him. >> he was playing football since he was in pampers. to come to his candlelight is crazy. >> among the collection of candles are his athletic trophies. >> i am at a loss of words. i just watched him play his last pop warner football. >> police are trying to track

down the shooter including video from neighborhood surveillance cameras. officers say any information can help. >> there are people walking and riding their bikes. somebody may have saw something or heard something. >> ellis was walking with friends at 8:00 p.m. when he was shot just blocks away from his mother's home. police have not released many details on this case so it is not clear if this was a drive by shooting or if the gunman was on foot. it is also thought clear why he was killed. at tonight's vigil his friends were still shocked. >> i didn't believe it until i started seeing it over and over. i thought people were being childish and playing around. >> crimestoppers is offering a reward that may lead to an arrest in this case. abc7 news. >> two suspects are under arrest for the murder of an elderly woman. 27-year-old victor silva was

aired after the riverside county sheriff's office after he and another suspect lead deputies on a chase across the border. when their car crashed the other suspect whose name was not released was shot and killed in a confrontation with the sheriff deputy. 84-year-old olga was found dead in a chair inside her home on thursday. a third suspect in her murder, 27-year-old john bruno martinez was arrested in richmond today. an east bay woman was seriously injured when she was attacked by a dog in her home. the pinole fire department said it happened on silverado drive around 10:00 a.m. responders say a pittbull attacked a woman in her 40s seriously injuring her arms, face and legs. she was rushed to an athletic field where an air ambulance was waiting. she was flown to the trauma center in walnut creek. neighbors describe the scene as chaotic. >> and later on when we left the animal control guy was here and it seemed like there were a lot of people out front

the driver of the car slam into the delivery truck. across the country more than 550 flights were canceled due to the bad weather. most were headed to or coming from the north east. five flights at sfo were canceled due to conditions in other parts of the country. oakland and san jose were not affected. a san francisco road is finally back open after a major watermain break. all southbound lanes of san jose avenue were shutdown much of the day. the flooding started just before 9:00 this morning near randal street in the glen park neighborhood. some muni parks were restored. the leak has been traced to a substation in the mission district. a golf tournament will be held tomorrow to remember and honor an east bay teenager who was hit and killed by a train. tonight marks one year since the death of jenna betty in martinez. the popular eighth grader was hit by a freight train after police say she ran back to

a quiet night we have on the way. the forecast calls for increasing clouds over night. that will lead to a partly sunny monday with isolated showers mainly in the afternoon. once the system exits on monday evening the storm door will shut again and we will turn to a dry and warm pattern. the dry and warm weather has enhanced the allergies. the tree pollen is at high levels. the main culprits are pine, ceder and oak. outside current temperatures 51 in concord. 51 in mountain view. cool at the half moon bay reporting station at 43 and right now napa coming in with a temperature of 47 degrees. satellite and radar will show rain falling in southern california. that was a system responsible for our strong storms yesterday. now we will have our next system moving in. it brought rain to seattle and portland and you can see the clouds and the sours pushing to the south. this will more in overnight

it >> this is abc7 news. >> good evening. in tonight's headlines, only abc7 news was there when police arrested a man suspected it in a double homicide in livermore tonight. investigators say two men were shot and killed after an argument this afternoon. it happened in a quiet neighborhood near winding stream and altimont creek drive. the suspect knew the victims. friends are remembering a 14-year-old boy shot and killed in oakland last night. they held a candlelight vigil for the well-liked football player. crimestopperscrimestoppers is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. in pinole animal control is holding a dog who attacked a woman in her own home.

the woman went to the hospital with serious injuries to her face, arms and legs. growing controversy in los angeles after the police shooting of a homeless man was caught on tape. an officer shot and killed a man as he struggled with officers in the skid row area of los angeles. it began when officers were responding to a robbery call in the area just after noon. five or six officers were involved in the struggle. police are searching for a driver in an illegal street race as a car slammed into a crowd of spectators killing two people. one accused driver is behind bars and the other is still in hiding. abc news reporter with the latest. >> a manhunt following this deadly drag race in los angeles. watch the gray mustang on the left spinout of control plowing through a crowd of spectators on thursday morning. police say the driver of that mustang, 21-year-old turned
