a home. investigators say officers came under fire while searching for the suspect. a veteran officer was hit in the back of the head. he was rushed to the hospital and he died. police have not released his name. the suspect was also shot. he was alert and conscious and breathing as he was taken to the hospital. new jersey man is facing charges this on after breaching the cockpit of a jetblue plane. it happened early yesterday morning at john f. kennedy airport. the jetblue plane arrived from dominican republic and the 26-year-old passed the alarm rigged door and on to the plane. and more bizarre three was sleeping in the cockpit. this morning the investigation into the breach is ongoing. >> america's heroin problem is getting worse. the national centers for statistics released a report showing deaths for heroin in the united states quadrupled in
