back open this morning after someone shot at two highway patrol officers. our reporter is at the scene with what he just learned from authorities. matt? >> traffic is moving well on 101 is that is difference from this morning when c.h.p. car was hit by a bullet. the highway was closed down while they did the investigation. this video of the investigation shows c.h.p. officers walking on the highway between tully road and story road and early this morning they had their flashlights looking for evidence and san jose police say they responded to the scene to assist c.h.p. with the shooting vision. officers were told c.h.p. vehicle with two c.h.p. officers were in a car stopped when shots were fired at 11:36. a bullet hit the c.h.p. vehicle and the officers were not injuried. police say the shooter was not located and still loose. the highway was closed down for

the investigation that re-opened after 1:00 o'clock this morning. the good news for those on the morning commute in 101 in san jose they will not be impacted by the police investigation. oakland police say the streets are safer at the raid load to the arrest of 16 dangerous gang members. warrants were served in the investigation called "operation cease-fire." they say those arrested are suspected of multiple crimes including murder, weapons possession and home invasion. the raids are designed to end feud between the 65 there and 69 th avenue gang killing each other and innocent bystander for years. san francisco mayor lee invited good samaritans to his office today at city hall. he wanted to honor those would helped the victim recover from

recent fires including this. a man died in the fire. 54 tenants lost homes and businesses and communities across the city extend up efforts to raise funds and donate goods to help those affected by the fire get on their feet. >> the chief engineer of the bay bridge said the bridge is safe despite cracks in the anchor rods. he told the toll bridge program it would bearly hoof in a earthquake even if all the rods were missing. experts say it could be vulnerable and he says at worst the tower would lean but not look like the leaning tower of pisa. >> a one year lease extension for the raiders is on the agenda at a special meeting of the come see crumb authorities. the raiders have not signed the extension after saying it was nearly a done deal.
