into san francisco, perhaps. i don't want to jinx it on this friday the 13th. san mateo bridge, eastbound and westbound picked up. the eastbound has lanes until 9:00 this morning. westbound roadwork has been picked up there. and elsewhere, in lanes in the san leandro area, north and southbound 8 80, between davidson and marina. developing news right now. napa county health officials are warning visitors to a couple of top dining destinations in napa may have been exposed to hepatitis a. this after confirmed cases. we go live to napa. amy? >> reporter: five cases in five weeks here in napa. we are at the westin hotel in napa. this is where two of the five cases have been confirmed by health officials. the two cases here involve employees of the restaurant.

la taupe restaurant and bank cafe and bar. there's no known cases among commerce, just the two employees. if you visited here in february from the 9th through the 26th, you may have been exposed to hepatitis a and need to monitor your health for about seven weeks. the hotel says it is taking all measures to ensure the safety of its guests. and is working closely with the health department. here are the symptoms of hepatitis a. they include among them fatigue, nausea fever, joint pain jaundice. it is spread through person-to-person contact or ingesting contaminated food and drink. the three other cases in napa have nothing to do with the hotel or other public settings. they haven't figured out the source of the infection yet. reporting live, in napa, amy hollyfield. >> it's 5:03 now. this morning teamsters will

reach out to drivers at another corporate shuttle company at bus stops across san francisco. this morning's effort at sacramento street and van nuys avenue, will focus on bowers transportation. that firm ferries workers from san francisco to tech companies in silicon valley. drivers complain about not getting paid for being forced to work time offbetween their morning and evening trips. a picture of what happened when somebody fired at two officers along the freeway. the bullet ripped through the roof of their parole car. it happened when officers stopped a driver last thursday. officers combed the northbound lanes of u.s. 101, near story road looking for evidence after the shooting. silicon valley crime stoppers is offering a $300,000 cash reward for tips leading to the arrest app and conviction of the

shooter. police say two men are under arrest and the search for a third suspect is under way, after a man who was abducted at gun point in front of his wife and two kids. the chronicle reports they forced him into a car. the report says they drive him nearly 150 miles, all while holding him for ransom. but he managed to escape in modesto. a massive manhunt continues this morning for the gunman or gunmen that shot two police officers in ferguson missouri. protesters were back on the streets last night. we have the latest including the reaction from president obama. >> reporter: determined protesters in ferguson, back on the streets. but calmer and clearing out earlier, after their demonstration the night before, ended violently.

objectionable. and worthy of protest. but there was no excuse for criminal acts. >> reporter: the two officers are back home from the hospital. and ferguson police are no longer in charge of security at the protests. the state patrol and county police are taking over. bazi kanani, abc news, washington. new details are emerging on the alleged spousal incident involving bruce miller. documents released by the santa clara police department said he pushed her to the ground and destroyed her cell phone. police arrested miller on one count of spousal battery just before midnight, not far from the niners santa clara facility. he's not been charged though. miller is the 11th team member to be arrested since 2012. a monastery hit hard by last august's south napa earthquake is facing an uncertain fuch their cleanup and small-scale repairs.

the 100-year-old monetary faces at least $2 million in bills for bigger repairs. and church officials say further retrofit projects could cost up to $1 million. the decision to raise the money sell the property, or a third option now rests with the council. san jose's mayor is looking to have the city's libraries open six days a week. he would sick to restore funding to permit the 23 libraries to open six days a week, including school days and saturdays. this would take effect on july 1st. he will recommend the finding on monday. the money is held in the personal tax fund and from the city's general fund. 5:08. if you haven't been feeling very spring-like lately, this weekend's going to change your mind, mike. >> definitely will. it will be very warm. and record highs possible tomorrow. good morning to you.

new this morning one person has died and another is injured after a medical helicopter crash in oklahoma. the chopper crashed last night about 130 miles east of oklahoma city. authority says three eagle medical employees but no patient was onboard. one person died in the crash. a female passenger was taken to the hospital. and a third person was able to walk away from the crash. no word on what caused the helicopter to go down. football players at the university of oklahoma held a silent protest against racism following the expulsion of two fraternity members who led a racist chant over the weekend. the players walked on to the field arm in arm, and stood for several minutes yesterday. the team has not practiced all week. instead, silently demonstrating during practice time. the players called for the expulsion of fraternity leaders tied to the video, saying they were committed to curing what they called the disease of racism. two students have been expelled.

say tried to lure a 10-year-old into his car. officers say on march 6th, the man drove up near carl and cole streets. they say the man tried to coax the student into his vehicle four games. the child escaped to a nearby restaurant. he is described as a 30-year-old to 40-year-old white man with black hair and facial stubble. he was seen driving a yaris or a honda fit type. crime stoppers are offering an award for information for this escaped inmate. he got away from a sheriff's deputy in san jose. he overpowered the deputy while at a doctor's appointment. the highway patrol is trying to determine why a man was walking on highway 24 in oakland when he was hit and killed by a car. the accident stopped traffic just past the caldecott tunnels after 9:00 last night. witnesses tell police, a man was walking on the freeway right

before the accident. developing news. protesters are calling for calm in ferguson, missouri, following the shooting of two police officers during a protest. the officers have now been released from the hospital. and authorities are searching for the gunman or gunmen. a crowd of about 200 protesters called for the resignation of firgson's mayor. and about 50 people gathered near the police station for a candlelight vigil. lawyers for paralympian oscar pistorius are in considerate court to allow prosecutors to appeal pistorius' culpable homicide conviction. a judge convicted of homicide, similar to manslaughter. pistorius says he shot steenkamp thinking she was an intruder. san hoe acease latest group of rookie police officers will graduate from the training

academy. the mayor will speak during today's ceremony. san jose has 1,000 officers. that's down from the force's 1,400 six years ago. budget cuts forced police layoffs. other officers left for better-paying jobs. union leaders and refinery in martinez have reached a deal to end a strike that's gone on for six weeks. the contract emerged after negotiations between nighted steelworkers and shell, which represented 12 oil companies. they represent unionized workers in martinez. and 10% after owl refinery capacity. economists believe the reopening of the plant should drive gas prices downward after being on an upward trend. water wasters watch out. a vote will take place to boost kwat water conservation

burlingame campbell and all of the bay area, this is abc 7 news. >> it's 5:42. volunteers will hold their last organized search for missing teenager sierra lamar almost three days from when she vanished from morgan hill. the 15-year-old's family has decided it's unfair to keep anyone looking for her, now that all viable search areas have been exhausted. volunteers have logged 50,000 hours looking for lamar. some members vow to continue searching. others plan to attend the court hearing for her accused killer. the metcalf substation's security is almost complete. a sniper attacked the power station in 2013. last year, thieves broke in. pg&e pg&e's work on a massive upgrade started in 2013. a stone wall will enclose the entire security. and security guards will monitor the wall 24/7.

degrees. tonight's going to be a mild one, thanks to the cloud cover. we'll go from 50 in napa, to about 55 degrees in san francisco. our inland valleys will be mild tonight. a couple of areas of high pressure dominating our forecast. keeping the front at bay. that's why it's stationary. and it is the dividing line between moisture and cooler weather and high clouds, mid level clouds and a warm air mass that will sit on top of us all weekend. coming into san francisco, for the parade, you'll see michael finny. it will be a great day. more sunshine tomorrow. we'll start the st. patrick's day parade, 11:00. will jump up to 74. and down to 71 by 5:00. here's the seven-day forecast. like a run at 70 at the coast. 80s for the rest of and sunday's temperatures and cloud cover will be a lot like today.
