[ inaudible ] >> she is crashing into every car. we will have to take lethal force. >> this started dug an investigation into a stolen vehicle. police attempted to pull over the driver of the volkswagen at the corner of van ness and pine at 7:00 last night. when they presented their badges the woman took off. police say she started driving erratically to lose them and was driving on the sidewalk and hitting other cars and turned toward the officers. they opened fire. >> she was crazy. she was driving through the gas station at 30 miles per hour. >> vehicle made it to the sidewalk, off the sidewalk several times drove at them and they they they needed to force they did. >> the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. she hit several other cars but no one else was seriously

injured. it is not clear why she acted the way she did. her name has not been released. police and the district attorney will investigate the shooting. in stockton police are regulating a driver by shooting that left three people dead and four others wounded. it happened before 8:30 last night outside of market in an area known for drug trafficking. the motive for the shooting is not then but police brought out the gang unit to investigate. two of the dead were women. the wounded are being treated at local hospitals and they are expected to survive. >> authorities have revoked a taxi exempt status of blue shield of california which could potentially put nonprofit on the hook for tens of millions in state taxes each year. according to lot lat they stripped blue shield of the exemption from the california income taxes in august. the move by the tax board comes as the third largest health

bay area, this is abc7 news. >> a woman has been punished after a stuffed african lion and other wildlife were found in her san jose apartment. fish and wildlife say the woman was caught trying to import a protected owl from france. she has been fined $3,600 and is serving three years probation and community service. officers found more than 50 stuffed and mounted animals in her one-bedroom apartment. several animals are illegal to have in california. >> father of a teen beaten at a mall is pushing for investigators to release surveillance video of the attackers. 917-year-old christian razner was beaten near a mall in san jose on wednesday. his fear said two young men slammed his son's head against the pavement after harassing him inside the mall. a surveillace camera captured the encounter. >> i would like to see if we could get the video released to the public because that is a
