a new report says the best-selling weed killer likely causes cancer. they've found significant evidence that roundup can cause cancer in lab animals and limited evidence it can cause non-hodgkin's lymphoma and lung cancer in people. the journal of oncology didn't examine any new data and the findings are consistent with the southwest, european union and elsewhere. a lot of high school students on pins and needles right now because they're expected to get word at any moment whether they've been accepted into ucla. the university received a staggering 112,000 applications. that's the most in the country. the chances of a student getting in? not very good. ucla accepted only 18% of applicants last year, and only cal had a lower acceptance rate
