abc7 news starts right now with live, breaking news. >> and that breaking news is in san jose where there has been a security breech tonight after a woman was spotted on the tarmac. good evening. i'm dan ashley. >> i'm ama daetz. abc7 news reporter lisa amin gulezian is live at mineta san jose airport with the details. lisa? >> ama, i'm on the southwest side of the airport and police say the woman scaled and jumped the fence behind me. take a look. then she made her way on the tarmac and was across the airfield when someone finally stopped her. a ups employee noticed the woman and stopped her. once she -- once he realized she wasn't supposed to be there he called for help. this happened near the cargo area of 118. once police arrived the woman resisted arrest. she was finally taken into custody. meantime east bay congressman

is calling for more security tonight. >> what i have been calling for is perimeter breech notification alerts that will tell you the moment a breech occurs. >> this is the tift security breech at mineta san jose international in less than a year. in april of last year a santa clara teenager stowed away in the wheel well of a high high an airlines jet -- hawaiian airlines jet. in august notorious stowaway bypassed security and flew to los angeles. some fliers are worried. >> that lady could have gone on tonight. she could have had a bomb or anything. we don't know what will happen. i think security needs to be bumped up. >> the suspect's name has not been released. i am told she will likely be charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. lisa amin gulezian, abc7 news. >> thank you. a mystery involving the son of a bay area billionaire

and a member of one of the wealthiest families in america. the son of anne and gordon getti was found dead at his home in los angeles. alan wang has late details from the coroner. >> i spoke to a family employee at the residence of andrew getti's parents and where he grew up. they acknowledged the death and said the family declined to talk and then late tonight from their pacific heights home anne and gordon getti released a statement asking the media and the public to respect their privacy. police were called to getti's hollywood hills home in los angeles about 2:15 this afternoon where he was found in a bathroom. the l.a. county coroner says it appears he died of natural causes or an accident because of medication found at the scene. a woman present at the time of death was taken in for questioning and she is cooperating with investigators. >> who is the woman you took into custody? >> i don't know her name, but she is the individual who

reported the death investigation to us and is a friend of the decedent. >> court records show getti sought a restraining order against a woman two weeks ago. andrew getti was the 47-year-old grandson of oil tycoon jay paul getti and part of the getti trust. he was raised in san francisco and close friends with gavin newsom. his father, gordon getti has a net worth of $2.1 billion. live from the newsroom, alan wang, abc7 news. >> alan, thank you. new twists and turns tonight in a bizarre kidnapping case. an attorney for denise hoskins' boy trend have proof the kidnappers broke into the home and took her. he sent abc7 news two pictures of drill holes in their house. the attorney said this is where they entered the home. she was reported missing march 23rd. police did an extensive search with no luck.

then on the 25th she showed up in southern california. police call this an orchestrated event. since then "the chronicle" has received a series of e-mails from the alleged kidnappers. they originally demanded an apology by police for calling it a hoax and threatened retaliation and today they backtracked in a new e-mail saying police don't deserve to be targeted even when they make mistakes. the kidnappers say they were a gentlemen criminal group who use drones to help burglarize mayor island. they were looking at kidnapping as a more lucrative crime. the national park service is searching for a long-term home for th alcatraz ferry. keeping it at its current site at peer 31.5 and moving it to pier41 or fort mason. the public sounded off for the first time and lilian kim is live at the alcatraz ferry with the story. >> dan the 10-year lease at

pier31.5 is up next year which is why the national park service is exploring options. 1 pin -- 1.4 million people visit alcatraz every year. they no longer want short-term leases and they want a spot along the san francisco waterfront for 50 years. >> just so it is a quality national park experience from the mainland to the island. for that to happen we need a long-term base of operations. >> the national park service presented their plan to the public. the idea is to install exhibits to improve the visitor experience. among the proposed sites peer 31.5 along the embarcadero. pier41 near fisherman's wharf. >> 5,000 people per day come to catch the alcatraz ferry. that's crazy. that will really change the

complexion of the whole neighborhood. >> swimmers and kayakers say the ferries coming and going from fort mason will get in the way. but they say no one should panic just yet. the odds that there is a deal involving pier31.5 looks promising. >> pier31.5 is the best site. they have been there for the last 10 years. and we hope for them to be there for the next 50 years. >> a decision could come as early as this summer. in san francisco, lilian kim abc7 news. >> there is a recuring boom scaring pets and setting off car alarms in berkeley. the alarming noise has yet to be identified. they heard the boom again tonight just before 10:00. police received more than two dozen reports in the last month about this mysterious noise. they have not been able to locate its source. they believe it is an explosive, most likely fireworks. >> there is some smoke in the area that could be left from

the device going off. >> i it sounds like a fire work but also like a truck bed dropping, like that hollow reverberating sound. no idea. >> the days vary, but the boom can be heard between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. a fourth suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a 30-year-old oakland mother. the alameda district attorney's office says 21-year-old michael stills is facing murder charges in the shooting death of pierce. pierce died earlier this month after she was caught in the cross fire of a west oakland shootout. police say she was trying to get her children to safety. three other men were arrested for the murder. they are not charged with firing a gun and he is accused of being armed with one. firefighters set a fire to clear out cat tails in a dry riverbed when it suddenly shifted. it expanded to 70 acres east

>> now that you have given away the forecast, dan and ama -- just kidding. we have a chance of showers on easter. we are tracking nothing but clear conditions here in the bay area thanks to those winds. the temperatures right now are in the 50s. although napa has dropped off to 48 degrees as those winds are relaxing. it is still a bit breezy from the kgo roof camera. you can see the flags there. as we look at the forecast it will be clear and cool in the morning and gusty in spots. sunny and breezy tomorrow afternoon. here is a look at the satellite and radar. here is the cold front that brought about the gusty on shore winds and the cooler weather across most of the bay area. the front passed through already. behind it the winds will remain on the gusty side. overnight we are expecting the winds to continue to dial back, but tomorrow morning you will notice 30 mile an hour wind gusts near the coast as you start off your morning
