cool this evening at 54 to 62. leyla? >> we will experience traffic impact because of the memorial service that is take place later on this morning but right now traffic is quiet and that is the san mateo bridge as you make it across between hayward and's step city the tail lights show flashing lights early and a couple of minutes ago and that is an indication of where we have construction taking place eastbound traction not going to be a problem and san jose 87 near the s.a.p. center where the people will take place. traffic there is light. expect delays. in the news this morning the streets of san jose will be filled with mourners and officers from around the country as the city said goodbye to a fallen police officer. 14 year san jose veteran michael johnson was killed in the line of duty much the memorial is attempted by police officers from all over the state and the

country. abc7 reporter matt keller is s.a.p. center where the memorial is held. matt? the procession starts at 10:00 this morning and it will arrive at the s.a.p. center at 10:30. the service is scheduled to start at 11 o'clock. the first speaker scheduled on the podium is going to be the assistant police chief far -- garci amendment and then michael johnson's sister say a few words follow by the department chaplain. this will be an emotional day many people are expected to lynn the procession route from los gatos through campbell to san jose. at the marriott hotel downtown a tribute to officer johnson cigarettes visitors walking inside. >> we have a lot of people leaving and coming in from out-of-state, international and they see this and they stop by and they pay their respects. several dignitaries will

attend the service including congressman mike honda and local leaders such as the santa clara county supervisors and city council including the mayor liccardo. more than a thousand people are expected to attend the service including law enforcement from all across the nation. law enforcement officers across the south by are stepping in to help keep san jose safe while officer johnson's colleagues gather to remember him. we are at the old san jose city hall with that part of the coverage. janet? kristen, law enforcement agencies from all over santa clara county are arriving at old city hall in a few hours greeted bit county board who will thank them for their service today. there has been a human out-- huge outpouring of support from law enforcement agencies including santa cruz showing support last week after going through a similar tragedy two

center today for officer michael johnson's funeral services. the preparations have already begun. the process will start at 10:00 a.m. and it will begin in los gatos at the chapel of the hills and head northbound on winchester boulevard to stevens creek boulevard ending at the s.a.p. center in santa santa clara. ill be emerge for law enforcement and the church. officer johnson is the first san jose officer to die in the line of duty since 2001. paul kelly with the san jose police officers association talked to us about johnson. >> i will miss not seeing him him not being here, hip not being part of our police family. it is tough. >> several dignitaries from from the city and county and state are here. it starts at 10:00 a.m. and arrives at the s.a.p. center at 10:30 with several speakers from the san jose police officer police department, michael's

the governor brown made history ordering unprecedented restrictions to deal with our vanishing water supply. the governor issued an executive order for maptory 25 percent cuts in urban water use across the state and farmers are not affected because they have been hit hard. water agencies will charge extra for excessive water use and new homes have to have drip irrigation. golf courts and cemeteries and other large spaces have to use less water. new maptory water restrictions start today in benicia with homeowners only watering these days a week and no watering from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and benicia gets water from from the lake that is only 6 pa percent full and only getting 25 percent of what it normally gets from the lake. >> officials with the alameda county water district hold a public meeting this weekend to help residents deal with the historic dry spell discussing the drought's impact and conservation programs.
