ontrolling traffic while pg&e does its work. c.h.p. was chasing a car and it crashed in hayward. the driver ran away. he live the scene. they are hooking for him. he left a female passenger and a child behind. they were taken to the hospital. with injuries. we are still working that part of the story. we want to let you know this road is shut down. an active investigation is ongoing. pg&e is trying to make repairs. >> 100 alaskan airline passengers had to wait for a new flight in san jose after a bird strike forced them to return to seattle hitting the bird after take off. the pilot decided to return to seattle airport out of abundance of caution. no passenger or five crew were hurt. maintenance are inspecting.

a group of people are sleeping outside in downtown berkeley this morning to show their support for the homeless. this sleep in follows a recent fight captured on cell phone video showing two berkeley ambassadors clashing with two homeless men. advocate accuse the city lowers of trying to criminalized homelessness and want berkeley to develop affordable housing to reduce the homeless people numbers. >> ten amountses -- tenants forced from their home tried to get their belongings but there was a lock on the gate. the building was considered a "safety hazard," with law sewage leak through the ceiling of the owner has refused to make repairs and the attorney said the owner agreed to pay for relocation costs. >> the tenants have been relocated based on money for
